Yampa Valley Kitchen is a nice choice for a step up for a celebratory dinner. The food is very good with creative, fresh and local flavors. Some of the servings were quite small for example, a vegetable and cheese appetizer was about the third of the food for the same price as a vegetable and cheese salad that was much larger. Amazing dinner, best we have had in town.
Focaccia was incredible, baked perfectly. Salmon was one of the best salmon dishes I’ve had. Very impressed.

Had mushroom bisque, excellent! Simple green salad, edamame which were good and a red lentil falafel burger that was the driest most inedible thing I’ve tried to eat in a long time. Bad and the fries that came with were worse. Service is good, nice surroundings. Expensive for what we got. $40-50 inc. tip.
