Been in the Fraser area for 10 years. Always go to Pole Creek and Bistro 28 for golf and food in the summer but never tried a winter dinner. Finally did and it was excellent (food and service). The pork tenderloin with ground mustard sauce and Shepard’s pie were some of the best we’ve ever had. Will definitely go again.

They recently got a new chef and the food is now great! There are more eclectic menu items (the fried green tomato and mozzarella salad is my favorite) as well as classic staples (the children’s Mac and cheese is amazing). The service continues to be attentive and personalized and of course the views are exceptional.

The new chef and menu are a huge improvement. I ordered the barramundi and my husband ordered the shepherds pie and both were delicious. And the service was very attentive- thank you, Tori!

We didn't have a great experience at this restaurant. The food was ok (not great) and the service was lacking. We had to ask them to bus the table a couple of times, they didn't fill our waters, dessert took over 40 minutes to receive, the server criticized the kitchen staff to us and they would not allow our guests to switch potato sides.

Unique flavors and twists on all sorts of different kinds of food and if you just want a burger they have that too! One of the few places that still offers sweet potato fries in the area as well! I personally love the chicken fried steak best! It is slightly out of the way compared to most places. Most restaurants are right on the main street and are often super busy all.hours of the day.....this place is in a peaceful location which is actually a bonus most people are just golfing and off course the golf course is beautiful to look at! Definitely worth the extra five minutes to get there! Especially if your looking for a scenic place to eat!

Food was great, but waited about 45 minutes. Forgot our appetizer and got multiple orders wrong. Never got our rolls. Only saw waitress when we ordered our food and then when she brought it out. They were all hospitable, but too many apologies.

A nice quiet uncrowded place to eat during the off season.

Casual eats are served at Bistro 28. The clientel at this golf course demand that the ingredients are fresh and that is what is served for the limited menu. We had lunch and the sandwiches were all made to order. One server and she kept busy. Nice views and wildlife all around. On the way in from the highway we stopped and watch a deer take a dump.

Bistro 28 is basically a golf course grill. Thing hamburgers, hot dogs and 19th hole drinks. The photos on Trip Advisor are very deceptive. Not upscale in the least. The views there are spectacular but everything goes downhill from there. After waiting 30 minutes minutes just to get my drink order, I was served the wrong wine. We were then told it would be another 20 minutes before we got our food which was ordered at the same time as my drink. It was obvious to us at that point that Bistro 28 caters to golf course members over non-members. There are way better options in Granby and Winter Park.

We are sad to see the deterioration of a place with such a lovely view. We used to enjoy the menu and food here. We waited an hour for food that was not worth eating. Kitchen staff must be overwhelmed- and there were only 4 tables ordering food. Definitely one and done for this season.

Tucked well off the highway at a golf club, Bistro 28 seemed like a stretch, but we had very good food - Asian chicken salad and another chicken dish - and excellent service at reasonable prices. It is winter and too dark to see well, but it is a beautiful area and the view is generally outstanding.

More like 3.5 or 3.75. It's on a golf course. The view was nice and the patio was nice. The service was decent. The food was just okay. I ordered the pork belly taco on a corn tortilla. The corn tortilla was a weird texture and tasted funky. The pork belly was an unpleasant texture. It didn't seem to be prepared properly? I ended up getting a sausage and that was fine. The sweet potato fries were good.

Country Club restaurant open to the public. Great tasting 10oz Bison steak which we shared. Should have split a side salad, too. The veggies and potatoes that came with the steak were on the small side for splitting.Great cook and wait staff. Our waitress was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly.
