We love the Tavern. The ambiance of a rustic western tavern, the excellent food, and the service are always excellent. We celebrate our anniversary here every year and always look forward to it. TIP: Park in the back instead of in front. It's much easier and safer.
This is a mountain Jem that a lot people are finding out when they look for a place with great food and service in old town rustic setting. It's close to Winter Park and Granby and you would never know to stop just by passing it on the highway. We found out about this place 6 years ago and make it a stop every time we come up to the area.
Our server Jonah and Justin were both very attentive and took care of our every need before we even asked. The food was fantastic - as always - we had the spicy cucumbers and melted beets as appetizer's and both were better than we expected. I got the wild game meatloaf and my husband ordered the halibut and those both were outstanding.
