Kazahana is the best dining experience in Telluride. The food is beautiful and delicious and the service is excellent. They definitely have the freshest ingredients with a stellar menu!
We dined on a winter Monday not knowing if/when their fresh deliveries were. Everything we ate was very delicious and fresh. The salmon sashimi were nice size chef cuts. The yellowtail was particularly excellent. We ordered 2 soft shell crab rolls (different) and the chef's special with a little mild onion on top was the stand out (both excellent to be clear). We did the omakase "experience" plus wine pairing. In a word: fabulous. The presentation, variety, and taste were top-notch. It's pricy, but we found it worth the price.
