“I’m obsessed with this coffee shop. The sausage biscuit is fantastic. Its gluten free, but I didn’t even realize it until after. The blueberry soda is also one of my new favorite drinks. Oh, and those donut holes were delectable! The people are nice and helpful too. We went three mornings in a row once we discovered it. We don’t live in Denver, so I bought the biscuit mix to make some at home. I’m sure it won’t turn out the same, but hopefully will be close. Can’t wait to come back on our next trip!“

“I was visiting from out of town and wandered into this coffee shop. It was out of this world!! Beautiful space, amazing staff, and never mind how perfect my latte was. I stopped in everyday of my trip! I got a juniper sage latte and chocolate croissant. BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. Thank you so much Glissade for such an amazing experience. HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“I love Queen City! Their Welton St location is perfect for anyone taking their pups on a walk, as they have a walk up window and you don’t need to leave your dogs outside, if you worry about that. Jorge makes the best Oat Milk Latte, and is always so personable and makes you really feel like Queen City is a home spot. Their roasts are also delightful, they always bring out the natural flavors of the coffee and are roasted to that perfect darkness (aka light). 10/10 recommend! Especially when their partner in the shop Pandemic doughnuts puts out their baked goods.“

“Lovely service and lovely coffee! Picked up two coffees for a much needed boost at a nearby hospital. The barista was amazing and whipped up a delicious mocha and latte. Their coffee has amazing flavor. We also got a lovely cinnamon roll which was a nice texture and the frosting and cinnamon were nicely balanced. I will be back if I am in the area. Also love their motto :)“

“High quality coffee and customer service! The crew was hospitable and had great coffee knowledge. I got their espresso with tonic water, then tried their cherry blossom latte. I really appreciated their homemade syrup wasn't overly sweet so I could love the coffee and blossom flavors. Amazing foam and temperature control too.“

Just had time to pick up a sandwich.It was a bit tricky to find and watch your step up walking inside but they had lots of signs to help guide you to their entrance. “Great coffee for an acceptable price. The space is bright and comfortable, good place to work or catch up with friends. Staff seems pretty miserable though, probably an issue with management or owners. It’s pretty rare that everyone is just having an off day at the same time.“

While you're waiting you can shop for art created by local artists: paintings, mugs, jewelry, etc. There are even plants for sale that bring the place to life. “I love Middle State's coffee SO! It's delicious, made fancy, but in no way pretentious. The stores are beautiful and the folks working are always lovely. Get an espresso, not togo, to stay! they serve it the classic way and it'll change your week for the better. Top notch beans to take home, too. My fav in Denver!“

“I enjoyed my visit to Queen City this morning. I didn't get a great nights sleep last light (#toddlerlife) so decided to try to make up the difference with caffeine. I love their cute shop and the cactus!! The barista was very friendly and made a delicious latte. The music was a little loud for me to concentrate fully on writing my admittedly boring paper, but at the same time it was also fun. Oh, and I'm definitely fully caffeinated and ready to seize the afternoon, and maybe the evening too!“

“We ordered a hot latte and an iced latte with almond milk. Both were tasty and prepared quickly. Flavor-wise I preferred the iced latte - the almond milk added a nice sweetness and the espresso tasted more prominent. But the hot latte was also good. Espresso wasn't bitter and tasted well balanced, but didn't super stand out.Espresso drinks always feel a bit pricey to me, but $5 for the hot latte and $5.75 for the iced latte (both 16oz) is pretty average for these places.“

“Hey Ed ?So I never know the place exists intell my dad told me about so I decided to try them out. I was so glad I did because I fell in love with their coffee. I tried their latte with vanilla and nitro coffee, which is very unique because I have not seen other places have that. I can say this is probably my number 1 coffee place because of how good their coffee is and how unique some of their coffee method are. Also, their bakery options are good and delicious. The environment and customer service were 10/10.“

“What an adorable place! Although it is quite small, vibe is awesome, cool decor, cool music and plants! Coffee was good and the pastries were very yummy. My only negative: while I 100% understand the need for a bathroom door code, I would have had to purchase something prior to getting code to use bathroom. I had already been there for a few minutes waiting for a friend. When I said I was waiting for a friend and would be buying something, I was met with a look to kill. Well never mind then! While I enjoyed my time, food and coffee, that was a little turn off. #themoreyouknow“

“I found Whiskey Barrel Coffee about 3 years ago when I was at one of my favorite breakfast spots in Winter Park & Fraser Chamber - Colorado, and had to know where they got their coffee. I jumped on their website and ordered a 5 pound bag for the house. As a family we love their coffee, the smoothness, great taste and consistency every batch. My oldest now orders it for her office.“
