“I stopped by after work to check this place out. I can't say enough great things about this pub! The owner, Christian, was a salt of the earth sort of guy. It's a neighborhood pub with a lot of offerings such as bingo, karaoke, and live punk/folk/Americana music.
The prices are very reasonable for drinks, and the pickle shots are made with a secret homemade brine.“

“The first time we went, last year, it was such a great time and overall experience but this last was nothing even close. It was so busy that you couldn’t get a drink or golf. The bathroom had to be cleaned because someone urinated everywhere.
Not sure we will return….“
“Stopped in mid-day Sunday for a Bloody Mary and Bloody Maria. Although very quiet, we were happy to visit with the bartender. House made mix extra spicy as ordered. Bartender was an absolute gentleman and EASY on the eyes ?! Will have to check this place out on a Friday or Saturday evening. Exceptionally clean bathrooms a plus!“
“Ordered a straight pour of Glenfarclas scotch and an old fashioned with Hayden basil bourbon - our total was $18 for both! Plus, folks that are visibly femme or “ladies” get a rose and everyone gets a mini Alabama slammer shot once you sit down. Bartenders will tend to you at your table, though when they’re busy it can be a bit slower. No playing cards on the weekends, but it’s fine to do so on weekdays. Staff was super kind when telling us this after we had pulled out our cards. Oh and the staff? Super nice, patient but very efficient, and kind to those who are dropping into PS for the first time. Def make this a stop if you’re hanging on colfax.
P.s. PS lounge is cash only! There’s an atm inside PS. If you’d appreciate a walk, there’s also an atm a few blocks down inside of the LOVA canna co dispo (3.50 charge at LOVA).
Wheelchair accessibility: bathrooms are not accessible for a wheelchair user (they are small AND up a single flight of steps). However, with the help of someone holding the entry doors open, I believe a wheelchair user could comfortably enter the bar and enjoy drinking there. There are minimal thresholds at the entrance(see pics), the doors are just not automatic. Plus the low price of drinks makes it a little more worth it to seek a bathroom elsewhere as needed. Tables at booths have supports in the middle (rather than edges) so a wheelchair could be rolled up to the table in a pinch. This might be tough during really busy times, but during slow or mid-busy times the walkway seems wide enough. Booths are also roomy enough between the table and the booth seat that it would be reasonable to self-transfer from a wheelchair to a booth for someone comfortable with doing so. There are a few spots close to the bar where a folded wheelchair could be stashed by a friend who is drinking with you. Staff is nice and I believe they would do their best to accommodate a place to place folded chair.“

“love coming to Jake's on any day! I especially love going there on Thursday and Friday nights for karaoke and every other Tuesday for open Mic night! the staff is fabulous, drinks are fair-priced, enclosed patio, upfront parking for bikes. The food is better than any bar I've ever eaten at. (any of the cheese steaks) love this place!“
“The Squire is such a cool dive bar — exactly what you hope for in a neighborhood spot. It’s laid-back, unpretentious, and has that perfect dive bar vibe without trying too hard. The drinks are cheap, the bartenders are friendly, and the atmosphere makes it easy to relax and have a good time.
If you’re looking for a spot in Denver that feels local and fun, this is it. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town.“

“Absolutely, hands down, a fantastic experience. Good food, good drinks and more entertainment than you can imagine. Leave the insanity of today’s world at the door… walk in and let your hair down, sing along and enjoy the freedom of having a great time with no desire to pick up your phone and see what you are missing. L I V I N G!!!! To the staff: THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! ♥️“
“Visiting friends while on vacation from Indianapolis. The Nob Hill Inn came highly recommended by a friend. When we walked in, I knew that I would love the place. And I do! Definitely going to swing back thru when I come back out to Denver! Thank you for the great time and atmosphere! Cheers!“

“So fun at Berkeley Inn! Kareoke was the highlight of the evening and being able to play some pool with complete strangers is always a good time! But I love being able to take such fun pictures with the buzzy booth! Always fun memories when you look at them the next morning! #theberkeleyinn @theberkeleyinn #buzzybooth“

“Working man's bar. Early morning special, 2 fers. Beer and shot. Friendly atmosphere. Partially enclosed patio, with big fire place.
Parking: The parking lot is small, maybe 15-18 spaces. If the lot is full, go by the bar, turn right at the next intersection, and park along the side of the road and walk around to the front of the bar.“
“The cavern entrance is masked by a curtain of sun-scorched savanna grass, swaying like golden silk in the heat-shimmered air. Within, the atmosphere shifts abruptly; the searing brilliance of the plains gives way to a cool, amber-tinted dimness. The floor is a mosaic of pulverized limestone and the bleached, splintered remnants of forgotten feasts, smoothed by the constant passage of heavy, padded paws.
A heavy, musky scent hangs suspended in the stillness—the unmistakable aroma of sun-warmed fur and raw, primal power. Deep in the shadows, a rhythmic, rumbling vibration echoes off the stone walls, a low-frequency purr that thrums in the very marrow of your bones. Here, the undisputed monarch of the veldt retreats from the midday glare to watch the horizon with unblinking, copper eyes. It is a place of lethal grace and silent, predatory rest: a lion's lair.“
“Great neighborhood watering hole.“
“One of the oldest venues in all of Denver and a true patron of music, Herb's is a downtown landmark. If you're looking for music any night of the week, get down here to shake your boogie thing! Plus, most every night is NO COVER. The prices are reasonable and space, with the wonderful patio area in back, is better than "Denver cozy." Musician-owned, the quality of talent she brings to the stage is all the Denver local legends. From Jazz to funk to blues and R & B, if you like instrument-driven tunes with full-body sound, keep the calendar under your "saved tabs." You won't be disappointed. Most shows start at 9:30.“
“I recommend very highly that folks visit this long time Pub . Great management, great staff, and a great time to be had .“
“Megan was a great bartender! The young people I met were so much fun on a Wednesday night! They didn’t treat me like an old guy!“

“Lakeview Lounge is exactly the kind of place you want when you’re looking to unwind without pretension.
This isn’t a spot for fancy cocktails—it’s where you grab a cold beer, shoot some pool, and genuinely relax with friends. The interior has never been updated, which gives it a nostalgic, time-capsule feel that adds to its unique character. Yes, there’s a hint of cigarettes in the air and it’s not pristine—but somehow, that only adds to the laid-back charm.
The sign that reads “no politics, no religion” perfectly captures the vibe: this is a place to escape, not to nitpick. Every visit feels like stepping into a space where you can just be, have fun, and leave the outside world behind.
Pool for .50 cents, beer for $5, a dream for a lazy Saturday!“
“Savannah at Gin Mill in downtown Denver was incredible. St. Patrick’s Day was packed, but she handled the crowd like a pro and kept the drinks coming without long waits. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone at the bar felt taken care of. Great energy, super personable, and clearly knows how to run a busy bar. If you’re at Gin Mill, ask for Savannah you’ll be glad you did.“
