We really like Chelos and it honestly surprised us (hadn't been to their other restaurant). My wife's from Belize and we lived in Phoenix for 8 years, this place is really good ... Especially their mole.
The food was very good
The queso dip was great
The tacos were with Riley steak on lunch menu.This was my first time there but Dapne was great and explained everythin modern mexican is authentic with a modern twist.The rice was soft and wonderful .I will go back for dinner for Hawaiian fajitas

Possibly the best Mexican food in Colorado
You have to go, the bartenders are all amazing, the service is exceptional. Really can’t go wrong with anything you have here

Chelos Modern Mexican offers very good, excellent, and fresh food. The queso dip, queso, and guac are great, along with the complimentary chips, salsas, and bean dip. The chip and salsa trio has fresh chips and terrific salsas. The tacos with Riley steak, the mole, the birria quesadilla, and the salad with plenty of flavorful shrimp are all delicious. The rice is soft and wonderful. Modern Mexican is authentic with a modern twist. The bartenders are amazing, the service is exceptional, and the staff are friendly and funny. It is possibly the best Mexican food in Colorado and popular.
