My husband and I just had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Co-Owner Michelle not only took our order but described the careful ingredient sourcing, plus some of the building’s colorful history. And the food was amazing! I had the turkey pesto panini and my hubby had the Gouda, apple, ham panini. So full of flavor, crunchy on the outside and wonderful melted cheese in every delicious bite. The drink choices were stellar too.
The gift shop has a nice interesting variety...read full review
My husband and I just spent our honeymoon in Trinidad and wanted to buy some souvenirs to bring back for our family and we found exactly what we were looking for and then some. We got to talk with William, who owns the place with his wife, about their story and he was so kind and even told us some history of the town. He also recommended the PBS documentary about Trinidad and we watched it that day. We loved the store and talking with William. We'll be back for sure!

Tees Me Treat Me is a charming restaurant located in Trinidad, nestled within a souvenir store. It offers a variety of options, including vegetarian choices and hearty sandwiches, such as the crispy pastrami and the highly praised Reuben. The restaurant is known for its homemade Russian dressing and the use of fresh ingredients in generous amounts. The chef, who is also the owner, is friendly and passionate about the food, striving to surpass establishments like Katz Deli in New York. The cozy atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for a meal during a road trip or a local visit. Customers have enjoyed the Reuben sandwich as one of the best they have ever had, featuring top-quality meats and homemade sauce grilled to perfection. The vegetarian vegetable soup is also a popular choice, especially on cold days.
Recent reviews highlight a decent sandwich experience in a casual setting at a value price, with friendly staff. As the restaurant also serves as a t-shirt and gift shop, service can be a bit slow, especially during busy times like street festivals. The co-owner, Michelle, has been praised for her excellent service and for sharing details about the careful ingredient sourcing and the building’s colorful history. Guests have enjoyed the turkey pesto panini and the Gouda, apple, ham panini, noting the flavorful, crunchy exterior and delicious melted cheese. The drink options have also received positive remarks. Despite some concerns about cleanliness during a busy visit, many appreciate the delicious food and the warm, inviting environment, making Tees Me Treat Me a reliable stop in Trinidad.
