We recently spent an evening at the Twin Lakes Inn. The inside looked great in the pictures but was even better in person! The rooms are darling and it is kept very clean. The dining room is very rustic and inviting, the bar area very cool, very nice fireplace and the sitting area looking outside was the best. It is decorated perfectly and the food was excellent. I am from Kansas City and we have some amazing restaurants but Twin Lakes Inn and Saloon blew me away. I had the most delicious crab-stuffed trout! My daughter and husband loved the Green Chili Mac and a cheeseburger, both incredible! Great atmosphere and our server, Jeanne, was so fun and made us feel at home. Can't wait to go back!

The food is hearty and tasty, with options like a veggie frittata for breakfast and the noted excellent Caesar salad. Visitors enjoy the local brews and comfort-style dishes. Located in an area halfway between Leadville and Aspen along a scenic highway, the inn is a perfect mountain escape. The stunning views of Twin Lakes and nearby lakes and trails offer great opportunities for star gazing, leaf viewing, and outdoor activities. Though Twin Lakes itself is small and walkability around the area is limited, the inn's convenient location and welcoming atmosphere make it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty.
