Rude staff and insanely overpriced for breakfast. I recommend you avoid this place and eat anywhere else!The buffet was equivalent to many hotels’ complimentary breakfast but here they charge ~$40 per person.

Cucina is a nice place for Apres. Live music is excellent. Menu is pretty limited and food is fine but not really great for the price for dinner. Go for an appetizer and drink and enjoy the music.

Menu severely cut back from earlier, don't see how they are going to survive. Limited options, food mediocre at best, completely empty for a reason. So sad because the interior is lovely and the location perfect.

Terrible experience at this restaurant. Music was loud and we had to send our drinks back twice! The fountain tonic was off and when I explained this to the waiter they just shrugged it off. Service staff rude and unhelpful. Don’t bother going.

We went for breakfast buffet after very early Easter sunrise service. We were hoping for more of an Easter brunch style buffet, as in years past. No omelet station on Easter morning, and buffet seemed to be the just the spread they lay out for hotel guests daily. Food good, service very attentive and nice.

Food was incredibly disappointing. The menu is limited so you'd expect the plates to be very reliable. Grilled salmon was cold, salad came without dressing. The restaurant was empty and still the service was slow and confusing. There are many better places in Vail Village.
One would expect A LOT more from an in-house eatery at “The Lodge at Vail”. Given the $$ they charge for rooms, I would hope you could have a decent meal at Cuchina. This place was just gross. The food was diner quality. The service was only slightly better. Avoid this place. ,, order a pizza instead.

We had a nice breakfast (oatmeal a la carte) and a nice dinner (pear & brie flatbread, polpete with spaghetti). Prices were reasonable.
My mother and I came here for dinner last night. The wings were great. The butternut squash soup was disappointing. It had no flavor and came out lukewarm. The lamb chops were very good, and she enjoyed her salad. The salmon she ordered to be added to it came out on a separate plate whole, but it was well-prepared.

We had a 645 reservation and didn't realize it was Mardi gras. They had a live band and a rowdy crowd. We would have just gone somewhere else because you couldn't even hear each other talk but they said the band would finish at 7 not to worry. Our fault for not just leaving. Band played until almost 8, our whole dinner, so we couldn't speak at all. Food was fine but not greet service was average. Water glasses never refilled unless we asked. Definitely wouldn't return on Mardi Gras and probably not on another day either.

Wait staff are amazing but the kitchen is a waste of oxygen. Bar is amazing. Idk what's going on with the kitchen, but it will be fixed before I return. Food is always less than mediocre. Only place in vail I've found a continous problem with the food. Not the quality of ingredients, but they way in which it's prepared is always disappointing. Also, FYI just because you made a reservation doesn't mean you'll be served food. Made reservations for 7:30 tonight and could only order appetizers and a first round of drinks before we were told the kitchen is closed. All the wait staff were confused, it seemed like the kitchen was running as it's own entity with its head shoved up where their food won't be again for me and 8 of my friends
