I can't come to Vail without having dinner at La Tour. It's hands down one of my favorite restaurants here. Every visit is consistently excellent—the food is always delicious and the service is spot on. The menu offers a perfect balance of classic dishes and creative preparations, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can really feel the care and consistency in every detail. If you're in Vail, La Tour is a must for anyone who loves great food.
Attentive, friendly service and nicely flavored food. Can't beat the French onion soup here! Bartenders drinks were great as well. Great experience! We will be back.
Too expensive. Overrated. Plenty of empty tables while we were denied reservations at the time we requested. Poor choice.
Muy buena y servicial la atención del mesonero Gustavo. Recomendado 100% . La sopa de cebolla muy buena y segundo plato el pato crunchy. El postre no fue al mismo nivel que los platos anteriores pero aceptable.
One of our long time favorites in Vail. We were not disappointed on our most recent return visit. The entire evening was top notch. All our plates were delicious. Food and wine service were first rate. Wine list was extensive and fairly priced. Another memorable dining experience at LT!
We got horrible service by one of the waitresses that helped bring food out. She was very rude and her facial expressions and body language were horrible. We had 3 people with Celiacc disease (100% Gluten Free) in our party and they brought the food with gluten in it (sauces, crumbs, waffle cones, etc). When I pointed out I ordered the stuff GF and without any garnishes, etc, she went around the corner and tried to take out a waffle cone from one of the plates and brought it back. We saw her and sent the dish back. Our main waiter was nice but he also brought our orders wrong. The place was extremely hot, and it was very uncomfortable.
Great dinner and my friend loved the escargot appetizer! Complimentary champagne for my birthday was a special treat as well!!
La tour is a great restaurant in vail. I love the chicken paillard and the salmon. We had salmon and pork chop for dinner. The chop was over cooked but the sauce was excellent. The salmon was perfect. Love coming here
Tonight, we had the privilege of enjoying an incredible dinner at La Tour in Vail, and I can honestly say it was one of the best and most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’m so grateful to get to live in a community like Vail, where connection is at the heart of everything—and what better way to feel that connection than over a beautifully prepared plate of food paired with a perfect glass of wine?
A huge thank you to Chef Paul for crafting such a special evening. His passion for food and dedication to creating something truly unique shone through in every bite. From the rich, flavorful appetizers to the melt-in-your-mouth main courses, and delectable desserts, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully executed.
I can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again. This place has become an instant favorite—and I’m already looking forward to the next visit!

We were a party of 6- from the moment we were seated and asked if we wanted sparkling, flat or tap- the waiter became unpleasant. One guest said oh we just had a bottle of champagne so we will move onto cocktails. A minor misunderstanding...The waiter responded so rudely it was cringe. Whatever he said in response, the whole table's mouths fell open. Like what??? Then, when cocktails were ordered, a female member of the party ordered a cosmopolitan without lime and he turned that encounter into another cringe experience.
In my 46 years of dining out, I have never expereinced a really rude waiter- honestly. I have had less than great service but always accept the circumstances and am gracious. This guy was the worse and should not be working iwth the public. Only when a member of the party was about to walk to the hostess stand if it didnt get better, she asked what his name was again. When he gave it- Carpenter, he must have realized that we were not going to put up with him ruinign our celebratory evening for a planned vacay to Vail. Then, he pulled it together but it was totally insincere and condescending. Other than that, every other person in the restaurant was pleasant. I am only writing becasue if I was th owner of this establishment paying the rent in Vail, and knowing how slim the margins are, and all the competitoin for fine dining in Vail, i would want to sit this guy down and give him an either/or conversation. This guy is running business out of this restuarant- the managemnet needs to know. It shaded all our opinions on any other facet of dining there. Honestly, we will go to every other place prior to dining there on our return trip in a few months. It's a shame.

Love the attention to detail. EVERYTHING on the plate is delicious. As a former chef- I am never disappointed. Even the charcuterie platter as it’s on story.
Happy hour with oysters is a must do in Vail if you love food and wine. Outdoor patio is beautiful.

Service here left much to be desired. Came during happy hour and was only handed the happy hour menu while other patrons received the happy hour menu plus the full wine list. Hostess was muted and unwelcoming, server was unfortunately dull and unpleasant. I wish I had server waiting the table next to me as he sounded engaged and enthusiastic. Had the prime brochette with 2 out of 5 pieces being trims of full fat. Pea and mint ravioli was flavorful and light. Felt like they couldn’t wait to get me out of the restaurant, which is an unfortunate familiar experience in less diverse areas such as Vail.
