Very expensive for what you get, food is just “ok.” Plus 3% service charge. Plus 3% credit card charge. Very nice staff. Very few people eating here...I think more people working than dining in our night.

Always love La Tour. Food predictable and tasty. Great ambiance. Food pricy but that's vail. I guess I could understand the 3% for using a credit card, but I didn't understand why they would charge you 3% for culinary, I thought that's why I went to a restaurant. Service was not up to par this visit. Good next visit will improve.

We wanted to love this special night out but, unfortunately, the service was not great. Our waiter was pretty good but the support from bussers, etc. was lacking. Our bread service was sent to another table, dinner plates sat stacked on the table even after dessert and as the bill was paid. The food was pretty good though and a decent value for Vail.

Disappointing. Very small portions for the price. Pork was really fatty, very little actual meat. But, the onion soup and beet salad were very tasty.

Food was incredible but we were charged a credit card fee when using a debit card which is completely illegal. On top of that you're charged a culinary fee which I assume goes directly to the kitchen. Your chefs are extremely talented, pay them what they deserve. Don't make your guests subsidize what you're not willing to pay them.

Appetiser of tuna tartare was good. Duck was tough. Trout was inedible - sent back after one bite. Service was average- waiter did not smile once. Table was too close to others.

The girls were great the menu was ok not great selection, super over priced, weird charges were added ahead of time. The ambiance was odd, the onion soup was bad, the beet carpaccio awful, the desserts were great however

The table that we were sat next to had two kids that were running around the restaurant. It was unpleasant to dine next to. The food was also just okay. The waiter was very nice though, and apologized for the chaos. It also took about 20 minutes for anybody to assist us once we were sat.
I always love La Tour. The ambience is lovely. Our waiter was exceptionally nice and helpful. I live in Vail and often go to La Tour. I love the chicken Paillard.

First off ... I rarely give negative feedback on line but we here we are! Secondly I live and work in the Vail Valley full time and love to support our restaurants. Conclusion Service was absolutely disappointing for the entire dinner service. Food was literally spilled all over me with zero attention to detail and nothing was offered but a sorry. The servers and support staff had zero attention to detail. It was honestly so shocking that our entire table would just laugh. Food was also average, usually they deliver on the food but last night was a miss on ALL LEVELS! I hope you have a better experience than we had! LaTour is a staple in Vail but unfortunately we won't be back anytime soon.

Our table at 7 was not ready at 7 ,when we had the reservation.That was very disappointing for us since we had 3 hungry kids with us.They postponed it for 8,30.We were not happy with that either,but we had to eat anyway. We ate many times there because our kids like it and as always the food is good.
