disappointing VS other years we've been at Le Tour. was definitely off season staff, not very helpful. one steak totally overdone- had to send back so one in our party of 7 was eating when all others were done. ambiance NEEDS an update for certain!

This was our first trip to Latour in 20 years and we will never go back. Our food was almost inedible, it needs updating big time and isn't worth the money at all.  The staff were all very nice, but that is the only positive in our experience.

We had a early reservation and we were able to talk with the servers and get their advice on the menu. One of our parties is Celiac and they were outstanding making sure she ordered gluten free and gave her options. Michelle Hersen was awesome.

Literally just had to walk out after being seated for TWENTY minutes and not seeing a server once. After letting the manager know another 5 minutes passed without seeing anyone before we decided to leave. We were never greeted by a server. Really disappointed.

The service was exceptional, beyond expectations for any restaurant, more on par with a private club.
The food was amazing, we had a large party and passed plates, the escargot, BBQ’d oysters, shrimp and artichoke appetizers were all amazing, the escargot was better than any I have had traveling in France.
Dinner was equally exceptional, the scallops were amazing and my wife’s Black Cod was also exceptional.
The wine list is one of the best I have seen, the wines are not chosen by popularity or label but by taste and quality. There are some great values!
Overall excellent service and even better food and they really did go beyond expectations to accommodate a large party of 10!
The food was wonderful. It was noisy and distracting bc we were sitting out in the path of pedestrians on the walkway. That should not detract from the atmosphere of La Tour bc we chose to eat outside. Overall we had a great experience. I would choose to eat inside or at least away back from noisy and crowded side walk.

La Tour delivers as usual. All the dishes have exceptional flavors and presentation. Wine list is excellent. We always do 3 courses for the full effect. Highly recommend this place and it is a bit pricey.

While our meal was good, the service was both slow and disappointing. We had to ask for water three times before our glasses were filled. One of our party has a bad allergy to cheese which he made clear to the server from the start. He was aghast to discovered he had eaten bread from the bread basket that had cheese in the crust. The basket was served to our table after making clear the allergy to the server. Server apologized and said he failed to tell the back waiter before the bread was served. Moreover, we chose the restaurant as the celebration meal for our friend's birthday. I sent a message through Open Table about the birthday, providing the birthday guest's name and asked if some kind of dessert or special consideration could be made. A follow up call was also made on the subject of this request. We were told they do not do that but if we order a dessert, they will stick a candle in it. Not the usual response especially for an upscale establishment but nonetheless we encouraged the birthday gal to order dessert. No candle, no birthday wish. Nada.
