My favored sushi restaurant in Colorado. This is my 3rd visit. We would visit more often if we lived closer. Their house salad is great and both the sushi and sashimi specials are 1st rate. We also enjoyed their Flaming Death Star desert. A memorable visit.
Amazing food! We tried shrimp and beef for starter and sushi, ramen for mains. Kudos to the Chef! Unfortunately, the service is not as great as the food: there is no a good place to wait for your table (we arrived on time for our reservation), no place to store your jackets (yes, this is relevant in winter for guests who are not staying in the hotel where the restaurant is located), drinks didn't arrive with the food, the hostess didn't say anything to us when we left- these might be small things for some, but for a high end restaurant these should definitely be on the radar... overall, I don't think the whole experience justifies the price.
Hiroko was so kind and amazing!!

Great food and awesome place. The margarita is very well made. Tequila bite in the beginning and nice salt taste after. Tried 6 different things and split them with my fiancé. Good portions. Left full but not uncomfortable. Our section was a little overworked for our serving team but nothing too crazy. Will definitely be back in the future
This place was literally 100/100, Hiro was our server and she was so sweet and bubbly! The food was literally the best I have ever had. We got the cucumber salad, beef noodles, and sushi. Everything was so fresh and amazing! I’m going to miss this place :( Thank you Hiro for making our first experience here so lovely!

This place is one of my absolute favorites! You've got to try the Wagyu dumplings—they're a must! Honestly, everything else on the menu is just as amazing. It's a must-visit! And the best part? The hotel offers a free shuttle, so getting there is super easy! Enjoy!
Food quality = superb Service = terrific, and with personality that was the cherry on top of the cake
We had a nice experience. It was super busy, so there was a bit of a wait, but nothing egregious. The best dishes were the hamachi and fatty tuna.
The hot dishes were the star of the show here over the “Sushi”. The shishito peppers were great along with the hamachi and the crispy rice tuna. The hot rock is a larger portion than I expected. Sushi was ok not top tier. The ambiance was good and the service was excellent. The waiter was well versed in the menu and making suggestions. When the bill came it was lower than I expected which was a nice surprise.
Our dinner at Makoto was wonderful. We had an early reservation and were seated near the sushi bar and kitchen. There is a patio and I should have requested that as the noise may have been less. Our server was very friendly. Ordered the hamachi ponzu and truffle salmon. Both were awesome. Loved the citrus sauce with the salmon. The sunomono salad was ok. It was large and could be shared with 4 people. Would not reorder. We also had the canadian albacore and a caterpillar roll which were great. Overall our dinner was great.
