What a fantastic dinner. Had a reservation, but opted to sit at the bar. Lucky us as we were treated to being served by Austin. With Auston's mixology skills and his knowledge of the menu, we ate and drank like kings/queens. The off the menu suggestions were absolutely delicious. If you are able to secure a reservation at Matsuhisa Vail, consider yourself very fortunate and every minute.
We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed our experience. Atmosphere was pretty laid back for such a nice restaurant. Service was excellent, and Sushi chef Alex did a phenomenal job. Will return soon

I’m just over how there aren’t any “reservations” for months but when I’m in there there are plenty of tables. Just stop with the exclusivity stuff and fill the restaurant.
It’s a great meal but nearly unparalleled in how expensive it is for a town that’s pretty expensive as is.
