The food was absolutely horrible—disgusting and completely not worth the price. The service was even worse; our server left in the middle of service to go sing a song, which is just insane. I have never experienced something so unprofessional in a restaurant, especially one recommended by the hotel concierge.
It’s shocking that a high-profile hotel would recommend a place that operates at such a low level. The management clearly has no control or standards. Such a beautiful location, yet ruined by awful workers and terrible food.
This was a complete waste of money. I strongly recommend not coming here.

Avoid at all costs. Nice people, but awful food, extremely slow service, and $50 for a very tiny bowl of quinoa, squash, and chicken

We have this experience two summers as we had a new waiter the first time but same waiter this time. Our order took over an hr to get and the waiter came back after 45 min wait to tell us our 15 month child menu was not available. How could they not know when we ordered from children's menu. Unexceptionable! Then after over hr food came but one did not receive her smash burger. That is inexcusable! Waiter then came back to apologize. The manager was very polite and comp our meal. We actually liked the food we finally got which is sad. We will not try it again from two experiences the same.
Mushroom “medley” side dish was flavorless and contained only 1 variety . Waiter told us the fish was white when instead it turned out to be a pink fish. Had to be sent back. Substituted a $70 filet mignon, which had the consistency and taste of pot roast. Menu offers veuve clicquot champagne for $200. It costs $55 at Costco . Overall a very disappointing dining experience.
The food is outstanding. Our kids love it so much we eat here almost every night while staying at the Hythe. Geovanny is the best server. We’ve eaten here more than 5 times, and he is by far the best. Cheers!

Lovely evening with great cocktails and service! Sara was fabulous!! The food was good not great but still had a great time. Apple strudel was fabulous!
Disappointed with food. We loved last year so we were excited to dine again this trip about all of us felt it was terrible.
Avoid at all costs!
I’ve been coming to vail for 10 years and this is by far the worst meal I have ever had. For starters, we sat down only to find out all the food we had planned to have ( we looked online) were out. No problem though, we ordered and let me tell you… the food took forever to come. The appetizers were quite underwhelming. When the mains came out, feeling like eternity, I was disappointed to find out the chicken in my Caesar salad was tiny! When it tried it, my throat felt like the Sahara. Not only that, my two companions order steak with the power bowl, only to find out it was well down to stay the least. Definitely more I mean they really killed that cow. The problem was the waiter never asked them what temp they wanted their steak, odd but we assumed it would be medium rare since that is the industry standard. Even if it was well done that would have been better than whatever they did to that poor cow. Upon telling the waiter this, she made an obnoxious comment saying “I’m only one person”. Lastly we had order a portion of fries with our meal, which came quite late, almost like they thought we wanted fries with desert! Overall I can not recommend, from the poor service to the food this restaurant is a nightmare!
Absolutely awful experience. Rude waitress. Food took forever. Over cooked. Came in parts . No apology from management. Never go here
The only positive was we had a reservation and they were able to seat us earlier. The service was atrocious. Took 35 min to get a cocktail. Server had zero idea about anything on the menu. They ran out of Filet at 8:45pm on a Sat night. The menu is not extensive so there was a substantial substitution. Asked for a manager. She was even more clueless than the server. Worst $300 dinner ever. Do not go to this place ever again

The restaurant is cute! Nick and Dylan behind the bar were great. Couple of items came out from the kitchen missing things but the bartenders handled it well. I’ll be back for the wine list, drinks and service. Food was okay.
The food was great but the service was even better. Added bonus, they have great cocktails.
The food and drinks were amazing and our waitress Peyton was the best. Overall great experience
had a wonderful meal!! steve made us and our dogs feel right at home - he was so so great as well as the rest of the staff. thanks!!
Disappointed. After elbowing our way through the bar crowd, we were seated by the hostess. It was 10 minutes at least until we had water. During that time, I noticed the room manager and 4 staff in the kitchen doorway casually visiting. Our waitress alone was quite busy. Finally made drinks order. The courses each arrived very slowly. Wine for main course was ordered from menu but the red was unavailable....Duck pot pie had very little duck 😕. The short ribs, however, were delicious. It took a VERY long time to receive the bill. And it was an expensive bill for two people. Will not return. Disappointed.
