Surface was uneven. Server was very friendly, but got several orders wrong and one person's salad was served minutes before his entrée although other salads were served soon after ordering. Food was good, not great. Very pretty room, although curiously empty for the over two hours, we were there.
This place is a hidden gem, as it’s located away from the center of Vail village, inside of a mountain lodge. Spacious, rustic interior creates a cozy ambiance featuring floor to ceiling windows and a stone fireplace. The food is amazing - a combination of French and American mountain cuisine. The portions are big and great for sharing.
Decent place and good food. They got the kids' food out quickly. There were not enough servers working for a very large number of customers. It took 2 hours +/- for 7 adults and 3 kids to be served complete meal. 40 min for cocktails to arrive. Slow..slow service. Nice people.
