One of the best steakhouses I've ever visited. The moment you walk in, you can feel the quality — the ambiance is classy, the service is exceptional, and the attention to detail is unmatched. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection: tender, flavorful, and exactly the temperature I asked for. The sides were just as impressive, especially the mashed potatoes and truffle fries. If you're looking for a place that delivers a true premium steakhouse experience from start to finish, this is it. Worth every penny. I'll definitely be coming back.

Was disappointed in Russell's - food was just ok, Mac and cheese came out partially ice cold which made me think it was frozen beforehand and just “warmed” up and steak was underwhelming at best. For two people with two drinks each the bill was about $400.

Lauren, our server, was awesome! We had her back in the Spring when we were in Vail and she is the consummate professional. We mentioned that we like to "dine" and she knew exactly what we meant, taking her time to let us enjoy each course and our conversation. The food was EXCELLENT as usual, with my wife enjoying her well done filet (yes, I know!) and me enjoying their new Ribeye from Lazy T Ranch out of Wyoming...One of the best steaks I've had at a restaurant lately. A great experience from service to food. We go to Russell's for our last night in Vail every visit and are never let down.

We made reservations, confirmed reservations, walked there in the rain and hail, and it was closed! We then had to walk through the hail to a bus just to have some shelter. It was a very bad experience!!

Sat in the bar area so we could see the covered bridge and creek. Highly recommend the NY strip! Support your WY ranchers. Potatoes au gratin were amazing. Bread pudding was a solid dessert to round out a great evening.

Service was friendly and helpful. We went while on our honeymoon, the service felt very personal. Fairly priced for the quality of food. Everything was amazing, I would've ordered 50 of everything we got. DO NOT miss out on the potatoes.

We changed our dinner plans last minute based on recommendations for this restaurant. While the food was good, the staff seemed completely preoccupied with other things. We heard them talking about a new chef that started and could feel the negative energy. Bartender and hostess were ordering new glasses for the bar. In between getting our food, there was nobody in front watching tables or the door. I was pretty shocked by this. We were finally ready to leave after this. The hostess must have told our server we put a credit card on the table as the server came right back out. I would try this place again...perhaps they are all ready to shut down for ‘shoulder season' as they called it before ski season starts. Who knows...kind of disappointing for the spend.

Fabulous food from the peach burrata, the gnocchi and bison steak - one of the best meals we've had in Vail. Service was wonderful as well. We'll definitely be back!

Celebrating an anniversary. Russell's made it special! Complimentary pro secco . Server, Pam, was outstanding in every way. Only “complaint” noise level from a table of eight seated next to us. Other than that, fabulous evening.

The waitstaff are incredible. The food - not so much. I have never been to a steakhouse that slathers their steaks in some sort of gravy without asking. The vegetables were not edible. Ended up eating the potatoes that came with the meal (vegetables come with the main entree but it is not mentioned on the menu so that you order side dishes - fyi) Really expensive. Really not worth it.

Service was excellent. But honestly the quality of my T bone steak was marginal. It was very tough.

Travel to Vail often and Russell's is always on the restaurant list. In my opinion, it's the most consistent restaurant in Vail Village!

We had the best meal ever after multiple trips to Vail and multiple dinners out and about. We will definitely be going back again and again!!

Everyone loved their food! Spare ribs were practically falling off the bone and the fillet was done to perfection. We chose to sit in the first room by the windows (which were open) and the noise level in the room was perfect - we could converse easily! The added bonus of a bear walking by was pretty exciting too!

Pésima comida, pedí trucha y, venía frita y sin sabor muy mala calidad, la ensalada wedge traía cebolla? Musica fea, el vino rojo que solicité estaba caliente! Muy mala experiencia. No regresaría. Precio, por encima de su calidad
