The off-season special for a 3 course meal is always a winner. They have new, creative dishes each season. Well-executed in a beautiful setting. Our server, Alex was wonderful.
The kale caesar was delicious and well-portioned with just the right amount of dressing that was clearly freshly made. Both our short rib and Peruvian chicken entrees were excellent. The cocktails we had were both very good but fairly small. All that being said, the $60 3-course special currently being offered is an incredible deal for Vail dining given the excellent food. We did question the music choices being played (seemed like mix of 70s-90s rock music) but there was a pretty substantial bar scene so that may have been directed their way. Get the chocolate chip cookies for dessert if you can!
We enjoyed the bison ribeye. Don't skip the cabbage. Divine dinner, attentive service and wonderful setting. We will return again soon.
Food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also outstanding. We had a slight hiccup where we were served wine that had apparently been opened for a while and the sommelier didn't bother to verify that it was good to serve. Sure enough the wine I was served was clearly old and I asked for a new bottle to be opened. But the manager and sommelier made it right and apologized and overall we still had a fantastic experience. We will definitely come back.
My wife and I dined at The Slope Room to celebrate her birthday. The ambiance was fine overall, but the techno club music made it feel more like a rave than a nice restaurant — we were expecting something smoother, like Frank Sinatra or soft jazz, to match the atmosphere. The food was good. We both had the Wagyu steak, which had nice flavor but was a bit fattier and grizzlier than expected. The mac and cheese and green beans were both excellent — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Old Fashioneds were well made, though on the pricey side. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but for a top-rated restaurant, I expected a more refined and relaxing dining environment. I would have rated it four stars if not for the loud, out-of-place music.
We had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, service was amazing, and the ambiance perfection. We ordered a wide variety of items off of the menu and everything tasted amazing. Our server was fantastic as well giving great recommendations.
Absolutely loved it! The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic as well. Thank you for such a beautiful experience!
Really excellent job on the Elk. Surprised the side were a little lacking in choices. Wine was good but martini was a little small.
We had a great night with excellent food and service. Our server (the receipt said Alex?) was sweet and helpful and the food was tasty. We had the burrata salad (only item we didn't much care for - too little burrata for us), tartare, short rib, truffle mac, s'more's baked Alaska, and corn crème brûlée. We enjoyed our night out and left full and happy :)
I'm not a vegetarian but the Cauliflower Barbacoa was out of this world!!! Our Serbian server was super friendly and knowledgeable. Very fun evening and we will be back!!! Everyone enjoyed their food.

Awesome experience! Highly recommend. Cocktails were great. Service was top notch. Meals were excellent.
We had the cornbread for an appetizer, totally amazing. The cauliflower for dinner, one of the best vegetarian dishes in the valley.
This place is very overrated. It was very very expensive either way average food. I don't recommend it.
Perfect dining experience. Food was well prepared with great attention to detail. Best dining experience in Vail.
