The kale caesar was delicious and well-portioned with just the right amount of dressing that was clearly freshly made. Both our short rib and Peruvian chicken entrees were excellent. Food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also outstanding. We had a slight hiccup where we were served wine that had apparently been opened for a while and the sommelier didn't bother to verify that it was good to serve. Sure enough the wine I was served was clearly old and I asked for a new bottle to be opened. But the manager and sommelier made it right and apologized and overall we still had a fantastic experience. We will definitely come back.
My wife and I dined at The Slope Room to celebrate her birthday. The ambiance was fine overall, but the techno club music made it feel more like a rave than a nice restaurant — we were expecting something smoother, like Frank Sinatra or soft jazz, to match the atmosphere.
