Best food in Vail so far for us, even better than the institutional hot spot if you what I mean. Bison steak ; perfect charred, temperature and salt level. The mushroom and savoy cabbage side dish blow the roof off. Service is friendly, attentive but also relax and not stuffy. The dining room is beautiful. Hope to come back next time when in Vail.
One of our most favorite restaurants in Vail and off the beaten path. You will not have a better buratta salad, the steak tartare is amazing. The steak is fantastic too. Service is great and we love the atmosphere! Highly, highly recommend!
After a year away, we returned to The Slope Room for dinner, and I'm thrilled to report it exceeded even my fond memories. This Vail gem has solidified its place as my top dining choice in the area. We began with the burrata and stone fruit salad—a perfect balance of creamy richness and bright, seasonal flavors that showcased exceptional ingredient quality. The cornbread proved irresistible (so much for the diet!), with a texture and flavor that had us savoring every bite....
