We stopped by the Fitz Bar + Bites after the concert at the amphitheater. They (Vail) were also hosting the Jazz Festival so they had an exceptional jazz improv going on. We snacked on cheese bites and other munchies while enjoyed the outstanding music. What a phenomenal weekend of talent, music and food.

Food was delicious, best in town while family visited. Not expensive for good quality. Love the atmosphere on the patio. Get the fitz burger.

Great place to have drinks and listen to music. Then you can walk to The Betty Ford Gardens or the Amphitheater.

I had a bad experience. The place was very nice, but the waitress named Edlyn was very rude. To be honest, I wouldn't go back because of how I was treated.

This is our 3rd dinner at The Fitz, and we plan to return. The location is perfect for the Amp and Betty Ford gardens. The food was excellent, and prices are reasonable for Vail.
Delicious and great ambience on the patio!
The food is what you are paying for, don’t expect more. Fries are inconsistently cooked and flavored. Servers were good, but food came out at different times. Several people in our party were finished before others received their food. The last person in our party received their food 1.5 hours after arriving at the restaurant, despite ordering within 20 minutes of arrival. Numerous orders were mixed up and missing components. If you are going to spend 25-30 dollars on an entre, may as well go to Cheesecake Factory.

This was a very poor experience. Reservation for lunch on July 4th made weeks in advance. Call from restaurant received on July 3rd at 4:47pm to let me know that only a BBQ buffet at $50/person would be offered and we could not order from the menu. At that late notice, finding another lunch option was impossible. When we arrived, the place was mostly empty and when we left, it was still mostly empty. This is one of the busiest weekends in Vail and the number of empty tables should've been a huge red flag. Our server took our drink order, delivered the drinks and walked away. I had to ask a nearby table where the buffet was located. We had to go into the restaurant to find her for our check. Food was mediocre at best. Hot dogs were shriveled, hamburgers were overcooked and burned, brisket was more fat than meat, mac and cheese was gummy with a hard crust on top, watermelon salad was almost gone with no replenishment in sight. Overall, had I been served any of that food from a menu order, it would've been sent back. The buffet was located in what appeared to be a basic banquet room....so much for a BBQ Bash. The real surprise came with the check...which we had to chase down. There was an automatic high upcharge charge for the holiday, a high automatic service charge for our server who only took one drink order...no food order, no food running, no plates clearing, etc. $50/person for the quality of the food was a stretch to begin with; the upcharge and "tip" were ridiculous. After apologizing for the terrible experience to our out of town guests, it's clear that my family will avoid the Fitz in the future. I hope other locals and visitors also find other options among the many restaurants in the Vail Valley.
Our reservation was mishandled. Food took over 30 minutes to arrive. The loud music overwhelmed the diners inside. The food was ok, not great at all. Our server Austin was excellent. He tried to make things better and was a delight.
Terrible. Sandwich arrived cold as did the fries. We had to hunt down the staff to get drink refills and the check. Brought the check to the bar to try and pay, and the bartender could not help us. Server was nowhere to be found, assume it's because she was running around. I will not return to the fitz
Beautiful location and restaurant. Staff is super friendly and the food delicious.
