Lyssa and Heath served us and man they made either fun. Amazing service and a great spot for such a crowded mountain. You gotta not be scared to fight for a spot if you want immediate service or just wait for a table. But either way. Worth it. Amazing the deals and specials are sooo good for the area. They're so amazing

We skied for four days and ended up eating here every single day. The vibe was fantastic, and the food was consistently excellent. We tried the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, pub salad with tuna, and the fish and chips—everything was delicious. Plus, happy hour runs from 3–7 pm, which made it even better.

The George Pub in Vail, Colorado is one of those rare places that instantly feels like home the moment you walk in. The environment strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively—warm, welcoming, and full of character. Whether you’re stopping in after a day on the mountain or meeting friends for an evening out, The George has an energy that pulls you in and makes you want to stay awhile. What truly sets The George apart is the exceptional staff. Every visit feels personal. The team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure you have a great experience. They remember faces, make thoughtful recommendations, and create an atmosphere where you feel more like a regular than a customer. It’s the kind of service that turns a great pub into a beloved local institution. The food is consistently delicious and comforting, with elevated pub classics that always hit the mark. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, perfect for sharing or savoring on your own. Pair that with their outstanding selection of drinks—whether it’s a well-poured pint, a craft cocktail, or a great glass of wine—and you have a menu that never disappoints. It’s the kind of place where you order with confidence, knowing whatever you choose will be excellent. For us, a trip to Vail simply isn’t complete without a visit to The George. We always find ourselves coming back, drawn by the atmosphere, the people, and the incredible food and drinks. We already can’t wait to return—The George Pub is more than a favorite spot, it’s a tradition.

Have been going to the George for years as our favorite happy hour spot. Went for the first time this ski season and was shocked to see they got rid of half their seating for pool tables. Barely anywhere to sit now. Watched people walk out as there was no where to sit. The vibes just don’t match as in the past.

I told the feminine bar t beer Hailey my fear I had for an intoxicated woman who was being sloppyamd gross at the Bar throwing herself at men and women and very Cleary a target for sexual harassment or worse case rape… so I went to the staff concerned and worried saying that the bar tender Haliey (only one on duty) replied back to me saying thank you for telling me if she wants a drink I’ll sell her a drink if she leaves this place she leaves this place. It’s not my responsibility so clearly she was not a girls girl and this is a safe place to be.
Stay away form this place it’s not safe for women they won’t provecty yet nor save you.
Great food, although rolling out a new menu and the online menu shows chili that isn't available yet. Great happy hour specials on drinks and food. Chill atmosphere and the duck mushroom quesadilla is awesome.

Love this place! We stumbled upon this place for dinner and they have an amazing happy hour. $23 filet mignon is unbeatable! But I will tip my hat to the plum duck. That was delicious. Also, service is exceptional - quick and attentive.

Cool local bar!
Definitely blew my expectations out of the water!! Caught the happy hour specials, and was not disappointed. My wife had the filet mignon, I had the sirloin, and everything was amazing! The brownie Sunday hit the spot and closed the meal out in the best possible way! Our server Eryn freaking rocked!! She went above and beyond! We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Love hanging out at the George! Any season throughout the year is a good time here. Great selection of beers and the redbull slushies are great too. Bar service is quick even when they get a little busy. The food at this bar is top notch. My favorite go to is definitely the duck and mushroom quesadilla. Its a great snack if your really hungry or a decent meal if not! Ski season Après The George is the place to be. Find it down the stairs and enjoy some damn good food and drinks.
