Great Service. Subpar food. Typical Diner food. We found that items labeled as “from scratch/homemade” or “fresh squeezed” were not completely true. For example I literally saw them pour the fresh squeezed orange juice from a Sun Orchard brand Container. Maybe this place used to do things differently and just hasn’t updated their menus to reflect how things are done now. We both thought our food was just ok. Three stars is for the service which ran really well.

This place is a must visit whenever you're passing Vail. Tiny little dinner with incredible traditional breakfast foods and great staff. Highly recommend.

Country fried steak was edible. Someone needs to give Brian’s dad a high-five

Friendly hostess and the chefs all looked like they enjoyed working there. My pastrami sandwich was prepared well without too much cole slaw and not too much drip. Huge portion of fries. No wait with plenty of counter seating at 12:00 noon on a Friday.

Went in for breakfast this morning at 8am. It was moderately crowded, with no wait. I was quickly sat at the counter and the experienced waitress was very friendly. I quickly ordered 1 scrambled egg, I piece of French toast and a coffee. Coffee came right away, but it tasted awful. The cafe started to get busier but, It took another 25+ minutes to get my small food order. Apparently both items had been sitting and the eggs and French toast were served to me cold. I took 3 bites and asked for my check. When I paid the hostess she didn't seem to be interested in the issues I had with my meal. Wasted $20. It’s too bad because this diner is so convenient to my condo, but not planning to return.

Very disappointed with the amount of meat on my sandwich. About 1/3 had no meat at all on it.

This vibrant diner in the heart of Vail Village pulses with energy from the moment you walk in. The dining room buzzes with an eclectic mix of fresh-off-the-slopes skiers still in their gear, snowboarders swapping stories, and locals nursing their Sunday morning regrets—all united in their quest for an exceptional breakfast.

Arrive early if you can. The popularity of this spot means weekend waits are inevitable, but here's the silver lining: their cocktail program transforms waiting time into happy hour. Sip on expertly crafted morning drinks that go well beyond your standard mimosa.

The menu delivers on all the breakfast classics you'd expect, executed with care and quality ingredients. But the real showstopper? The German pancake. This isn't hyperbole—it's genuinely to die for. Light, eggy, and dramatically presented, it's the kind of dish that makes you understand why people willingly queue out the door.

The staff brings genuine warmth to what could easily be a chaotic environment. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our server made us feel individually cared for, delivering attentive service without hovering, all with authentic smiles that never felt forced.

This is a repeat-visit establishment. The menu has enough variety and quality that you'll want to return multiple times to explore everything that catches your eye. Whether you're fueling up before hitting the slopes or recovering from the night before, this Vail Village diner delivers an experience that matches the mountain town's high standards.

Great breakfast! Awesome Eggs Benedict?

Rude host. Never know if they can be bothered with take out service or not. Food is overcooked to cinders.

If you’re looking for a group-friendly spot in Vail, The Little Diner is a fantastic choice, though I’d recommend joining the waitlist early to beat the post-rush crowd. The omelettes and breakfast burritos are excellent, but the real stars are the homemade hash browns, which are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Even with a full house, the service is impressively fast and the staff is genuinely attentive to specific order variations, all while maintaining that classic, high-energy diner atmosphere.

There may be a little bit of a wait but worth it. Buttery hashbrowns, Dutch baby was great (try with blueberry syrup), and breakfast buritto was massive. Must try for a big breakfast.

If you’re not chowing down at the little diner before you hit the slopes are you even living? Find out if Axel is serving and then sit in his section, he loves Jerry’s and would love to serve you and help you on the slopes.
Literally the best diner. Don’t miss it before it misses you!
