We went for a breakfast before a hike and had a wonderful meal. The omelet was perfectly cooked and the Dutch Baby was a real treat! Very friendly and helpful staff. We had to wait but I was worth it.

Great for breakfast. Had to wait for a table but it was totally worth it. Omelet and Eggs Benedict were delicious. Service was good even though very busy. Well run.

This place was great for breakfast today. We got seated immediately and service and food was really good. Plus it's very inexpensive. We might go again this week! Bacon was outstanding.

Great comfort food. A breakfast to fuel you for a long of adventure in the mountains. Burgers and sandwiches are tasty and very hearty. Love the fries. Don't plan on cutting calories though - not many choices for healthy.

While the wait was a bit long (use the waitlist app to reserve ahead of time), the service was wonderful and food - delicious! The staff are friendly and efficient. We'll be back!

Got the smothered burrito and taxi driver dish during the busy hours of Saturday morning. Thankfully we got seated less than 15 min and food arrived in 20 min. Friendly wait staff and extremely busy restaurant. Food was good, nothing extraordinary but simple and tasty enough. Definitely on the pricier side but there weren't much choices in early hours anyway.

We all enjoyed our breakfasts. They have a great selection of breakfast favorites! The service is prompt and friendly. The food is better than expected. And overall it was very enjoyable. We got there early so there wasn't a wait. But there were lots of people waiting when we left. You can get on the waiting list in advance by going on to their website.

This is our first time to Vail and we are loving our exploration of the area. We chose The Little Diner for breakfast because of the great Yelp reviews. It was a great choice. Their menu has so many different items to choose from! My hubby ordered a veggie scramble and I opted for a simple meal of pancakes and hash browns. I always crave the crispy buttery goodness of a well-prepared traditional hash browns and theirs was perfect. The pancake must have had a secret ingredient because it was amazing. Our server said everything is house-made except the bread and chocolate (chocolate chips and Nutella?) My hubby's veggie scramble was excellent as well. The veggies were chopped smaller, which made every bite full of veggies and thankfully it wasn't loaded down with tons cheese like some scrambles are! Rye bread toast accompanied the scramble. The service was friendly and attentive. We sat outside, but the inside looked nice too...attractive diner decor. We highly recommend this cute place and would certainly return to try other menu items!

Hop-pen diner with full breakfast and great service. Get there early on weekends and sign in and be prepared to wait a little bit.

It took considerable effort to find this diner. the food was good and reasonable for Vail. We did have difficulty finding it as we were new to Vail. Fortunately someone helped us out as the map provided at the information office was not helpful.

Our favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Vail! Worth the inevitable wait. Everything we have tried at The Little Diner has been excellent.

Can't be beat for that morning cup of Joe with eggs, pancakes or whatever. The lunch menu has enough to keep you interested. Beware, the "Little Dinner" is small so sometimes there is a wait, but it's worth it.

What a great little breakfast spot deep in the Rockies. Very small location so be prepared to sit close to others or be at the counter with someone next to you. The counter offers the added bonus of being able to watch the cooking in action. The pancakes are incredibly light. The bacon is thick and prepared just perfectly. The toast was perfectly toasted each time and the portion size is just all around generous. Arrive early or prepare to wait a bit. You can sign up for the waitlist online. You can also shop the nearby area a bit while you wait to be seated. The Little Diner is a definite - YES.

We loved The Little Diner! We only tried the breakfast, but it was so good it was worth the 15 min walk from Vail Village to eat here! We loved that it was open early, the food was fresh and made to order. The staff was also extremely nice. Over a period of two days, we ordered scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, toast, grits, and french toast. It was all amazing! It was some of the best, and most reasonably priced food in Vail. The Little Diner is tucked away in the Lionshead area, but it is worth going out of your way to find it. The menus are available via QR code and outdoor seating is sometimes available. It is hands-down better tasting and price-wise than the buffet offerings from larger hotels nearby. I only wish there was a “Little Diner” near my home! I highly recommend it! (If you are walking across town, maybe call first to make sure they are open due to staffing shortages.)
