Wow, one of the best restaurants on Vail mountain! For starters, this restaurant blew my mind away, especially it being 2 miles high! The pulled pork was so tender, the ribs were some of the best that I have ever had, the sauce is the bomb, and the prices were reasonable for Vail! Pro tip, use your epic pass if you have it, it will save you a drastic amount of money!

Vegetarian options: This is a bbq, so there is not many veggie dishes

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for dietary restrictions!

Parking: In terms of ski parking, there are many racks outside to “park” your skis. However, you can’t drive up to here!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!

Wheelchair accessibility: If you are on a wheelchair and are skiing, congratulations! It is for skiers!

Great spot to stop to grab a bite/drink with awesome views of the mountain. Be prepared to spend a good bit but normal for Vail. Overall a fun

UP the chair 3 you find this place to have lunch. EXPENSIVE LIKE everything in vail. I think this is the best place to eat and let them rob you lol. The scene view it’s nice. The food it’s low quality but better than other vail restaurants.

I’m torn on this review. I don’t want to tell you that this is the best place on the mountain to eat because I don’t want more people here, but I can’t lie. If you’re going to spend a disgusting amount of money on lunch on the mountain, this is the place to do it.

Food is mediocre. Which you still eat because you’re hungry after a morning of skiing. But the part that stings is that it’s way overpriced! Views are good if you get a table by the window.

This place is a joke - selling mediocre overpriced ribs is one thing. Not providing tap water, no paper towels (ribs!!), no soap in the restrooms (ribs again!!) is another story. Save your time and money and skip that place.

Absurd prices. Over $10 for a can of beer... No draft. No soap on bathrooms.. during Covid-19!? Music is incredibly awful, twangy country.

BBQ Food and rest station spot on the top of Sundown bowl. Get the BBQ, then keep skiing.

Easily my favorite place to eat on Vail mountain. The chicken and wild rice soup should not be missed but you can't go wrong with any of the BBQ options on the menu. Seating inside is limited, especially in comparison with the other main on mountain dining areas, but there is ample outside seating. If you are planning to eat on mountain don't miss this fantastic BBQ! Worth it even if you weren't planning on eating on mountain. Highly recommend.

Excellent barbecue made outside in a slow smoker, and also very good service. Bryan who I believe is one of the managers went out of his way to be helpful and always made our visit very pleasant. Definitely recommend if stopping for lunch on east side of Vail mountain.

Best meats in order: ribs, brisket, pulled pork, sausage... Platter is probably best deal to feed 2 people (25 bux)...

Great place for a lunch break when you are up on the mountain. The ribs are to die for

Decent option to grab food at the mountain, although the selection is limited. The beef chilly was good, the chicken and rice soup not so much.

We split the beef brisket sandwich. It is huge so think about splitting. Tender tasty meat crunchy roll!! Good flavor with an excellent bbq sauce available on the table. Pickles and banana peppers top it off. We also splurged on a brownie which was worth it.
