“Everything we’ve had here is so fresh, from soup to sandwiches on fresh made bread. We had ham and cheese rolls for breakfast, cookies everything is amazing. Brought food back to the hotel for supper that we couldn’t finish at lunch. Sandwich wasn’t soggy but just as fresh tasting like it tasted for lunch. We enjoyed everything, service is friendly. So worth stopping here!”

“I was leary with the last reviews, but we gave it a try. The service was fast and friendly. Our waiter knew everything on the menu. We went for lunch, had the lunch special and drinks. Food was hot and fresh, drinks were tall and well iced.”

“We had dinner at Maggie's on Sunday August 31, 2025. We both had New York Steak with different sides. All the food was amazing. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our waitress Amanda R was amazing. She was attentive, friendly and very timely. We were told recently there was a new head chef and with his staff they are doing a great job on upping the game.”

“I only wanted a baked potato and this one did not disappoint! It was perfectly soft, wrapped in foil, and baked to absolute perfection. The butter and sour cream were served on the side, letting me add just the right amount.

The restaurant itself sits in the old mining town of Cripple Creek, and the atmosphere reflects just that simple, old-town casino vibes serving up basic food. As basic as a baked potato may seem, not every place gets it right… but this one definitely did.”

Glass of cabernet. Salad came out quickly. Cold, crisp, nice blue cheese dressing. I ordered the top sirloin, medium rare+. It was perfectly cooked. Juicy, lots of flavor! Tender. Green beans, nice little crunch, not overcooked. After plates were cleared, wouldI like dessert, cheesecake maybe? No thank you, I'll finish my wine. Shall I bring the check? Yes please. Usually it's do you want dessert- (sometimes before we even finish eating) then drop the check immediately. So refreshing . Just a great dinner overall!”
