“Food: I had the protein bowl, which had sausage crumbles, bacon, avocado, eggs, and a spinach salad. The bacon was crispy, how I like it, the avocado was fresh, the eggs were cooked well, and the vinaigrette on the salad was great. I enjoyed it very much!

Service: Our server was good, and got all of our specifics correct (I didn’t want the tomatoes on my protein bowl and someone else at the table got an extra egg and bacon). However, the side of bacon came with 3 slices, but they charged us $6 which was a lot!!

Atmosphere: Cozy breakfast spot in the winter, or fun energetic breakfast spot in the summer, it can be both! I like their logo too, which is scattered throughout on the walls. The one thing is that it is pretty loud so sometimes I can’t really hear other people at the table talking.

Overall: I’ve come here maybe 6 times now, and it’s been good every time and is reliable. Also a great place for those on diets! (My friend has celiac and they didn’t cross contaminate any gluten).“

“A speakeasy vibe, classic and modern cocktails, and movie nerds: what more could you want? Even if I'm not seeing a movie, I frequently just stop to see what new cocktails are on the menu. The staff are so excited about great drinks and great (or bad) movies, the experience is always awesome.“

“We had the French dip sandwiches, which were ok. They could sure do with fresher rolls. My daughter had a small order of ribs, with collard greens and Mac and cheese. The ribs were ok - I think they may have been brined too long. The collard greens and Mac and cheese were so under seasoned that they were hard to eat. We'll give it another try at some point.“

Derrick, our bartender, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without hovering. Cocktails were beautifully balanced, the food was genuinely tasty, and being side-by-side made sharing and conversation easy. Five stars all around.“

“OMG, we absolute loved this place. Went in for happy hour. The selection of food and beverage was great, way above most restaurant offerings for both. The Slap Burger, Hot Chicken and Ricotta offerings were top notch and the house wine and sparkling were great. Service was friendly and it was such a fun and relaxing place to spend the evening.

“The Welton Room is a staple of 5 points. The same owners of the Monkey Bar next door. The cocktails are amazing and the food pairs really well with everything they have to offer.

“This was our first time at brunch and it was delicious. The hostess responded to our request of where we wanted to sit. Everyone enjoyed their meals (chicken and waffles, BLAT, tater tot skillet), but the biscuits and gravy was a clear favorite. Edit: I've since went and spoken with the new manager there and she was so compassionate and empathetic and said the way I was treated is not in line with the principles of Beacon and she's still learning how they operate around there but she's definitely notices somethings about the way it operates there and plans to make changes and that she hopes I'll be able to come back and be comfortable. “Had the absolute time of my life at this bar. We have lived a couple blocks down from this bar for a couple months and always thought the bar looked like a blast. We decided to stop in tonight and it felt like home. Everyone was so kind. We had a blast playing pool and singing karaoke and the drinks were cheap and phenomenal. This place is family owned and full of the best vibes. We love stardust!“
