While the restaurant could improve the availability of menu items and volume of overhead music, it provides a great outdoor patio seating area by the river. Ideal for special occasions, romantic date nights, or simply a nice dinner out, Volario's successfully hosted a wedding dinner and anniversary celebration, making it a memorable destination worth returning to when in Winter Park. The food is absolutely fantastic, with highlights like the braised short rib stuffed ravioli and surf and turf, though some dishes like the Veal Parmesan are good but nothing special. The lemon burlee dessert is a must-try, sweet and tarty with berries. Drinks like the amaretto sour and whiskey sour are popular, though some may find them lacking in flavor. Service can be slow at times, but the overall experience is delicious and worth the price.
