LaLa's Bakery & Espresso Bar is a friendly and welcoming establishment, though it seems to be under new management and is still finding its footing. The menu has some unavailable items, but the pastries are tasty, and the staff is friendly. The coffee is smooth, and the muffins, cookies, and wonderful cupcakes and cakes are also very good, including for special occasions like weddings. This cute little cafe is a gem and easily the best bakery/coffee shop in eastern Colorado/western Nebraska. The owners and staff put their all into the shop, offering delicious custom cakes even when not on the menu. Visitors also love the unique drinks like the Cider Red Bull, making it a must-visit spot in town.
