La Zingara is now one of our favorite restaurants. We were planning to meet up in the Danbury area with some friends visiting over the holidays. Not knowing the area, I looked on Google maps. La Zingara was highly rated so we decided to give it a try. We had a fantastic meal and have been back three times since. The high quality of their food and service has been consistent and it's rustic charm is an added bonus. Their menu has a nice variety meats, seafood and pasta....
My goodness. Hard to articulate the delight of our wonderful culinary experience. Ambience is soothing and calming. Our server Jamie was attentive and warm - the food is truly farm to table fresh, you feel alive after your feast, no food coma even after a several course spread. Prices are reasonable for what you get, most things are made in house. Easy to see how they have been la crème for over two decades and never skip a beat. A priceless gem.
