A Truly Special Baby Shower at Michael’s Tap Room
We recently hosted a baby shower at Michael’s Tap Room for my son and daughter-in-law, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was. From the very beginning, Jennie, the event planner, was an absolute dream to work with. She helped us bring our “A Baby is Brewing” theme to life with care, creativity, and warmth. Jennie was incredibly responsive during the planning process and, on the day of the event, was right there alongside her amazing team making sure everything ran smoothly.
The staff went above and beyond—setting the room with elegant white linens and soft baby blue napkins that matched our theme perfectly. They even helped us with our own decorations, which made the space feel personal and welcoming. Although our event was in the middle of the restaurant, they thoughtfully created a private and cozy atmosphere using wall separators, and we also had access to the patio, which was a beautiful bonus.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and it showed in every bite.
Michael’s Tap Room took care of every detail and helped create a day we’ll never forget. If you’re planning a special event, I highly recommend this place—and definitely ask for Jennie!

Awful/ scary experience here. Couldn’t enjoy my dinner that I paid for because I didn’t have an ID to show. Was not anticipating to drink alcohol, was simply enjoying a meal with friends and was harassed by a “security guard”. Followed into the bathroom AND the stall, and asked to leave during the middle of my dinner. Was given 20 minutes to wrap up my food before kicked out of the restaurant all for not having an ID (I wasn’t planning to consume any alcoholic beverages). Bizarre and unnecessary. Will not ever be returning to this restaurant. Spend your money someplace else.

My boy BBQ Chris took me to Michael's, it was an excellent experience...the drinks were cold, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great....do try the NY strip steak when you get there 👍🏾
My husband and I have been to Michael's Tap Room now twice and I cannot recommend it enough. Their burgers are delicious and their quesadillas and cauliflower wings are amazing. The staff is very polite and on point. This is definitely one of our new go to places in Bethel, CT.
