We heard Varano Bakery is the best in town so we stopped by today. We were mesmerized by all the delicious treats and picked out five to try. The Oreo bon bon and butter cookies were our favorites. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to go back! If you haven’t stopped by Varano’s you’re missing out.
This is a great Italian bakery. How do I know? Because I’m an Italian from the Bronx. Usually I go to Sal and Doms on Allerton Ave but since my wife and I moved to Bethel we found this little hidden gem.
Me & my smoking hot girlfriend got a bagel across the street that was good, but I wanted a sweet treat for later. (Thanksgiving morning, mind you). I look out and see the open sign on inside the bakery window. Walked in, the young man was a G and mad nice. They were nearly out of rainbow cookies, they looked fire.
