Pizza was decent. A bit oily but still tasted good. The meatball grinder however.....well, the best part was the bread and cheese. The meat was tough. Not tender, and had little taste. Like there was nothing mixed in with the meat to add flavor.
third time eating here, I ordered the chicken parmigiana family meal. As a born and raised new Yorker I haven't been excited about local Italian food. I usually head to arthur avenue in the Bronx. so I am really pleased with food at Village Pizza! the food is very good, the portions generous, prices reasonable. highly recommended!
When in Connecticut, leave Domino's & Papa John's alone.Village Pizzeria is the place to go.Small shop. Great food. Fresh, hot and delicious.Greek salad wonderful. Calpine was absolutely HUGE. Soup is homemade as are the meatballs.Don't miss this place on Stony Hill
