Have been coming here since they first opened and I’m shocked I haven’t left a review yet. I can’t suggest this place enough. The atmosphere, delicious drinks, friendly staff. You can never miss. 11/10
This place is a vibe until you encounter Grace and her rude service. Been here a couple times and she is always miserable and rude. This last time she acted annoyed with us and was not accommodating. I asked her what kind of beer they have and she pushed the menu at me and said its in here read it. It seemed like every time we asked for another round it was an inconvenience. When paying premium prices for cocktails and $9 popcorn it would be nice to be treated with some hospitality....
Tony, Frank, Nicola and the entire 1928 team are the best in the business. They are meticulous down to the smallest but noticeable detail. All while smiling and making sure you and your guests are well taken care of. Well taken care of you will be. Make the trip to visit CT's number one speakeasy. I would challenge not only the atmosphere and drinks, but the entire speakeasy itself to any other in the country. 100 out of 10! Thank you all at 1928 for so many fantastic memories...
