“It's difficult to explain my awe at the level of service Eric provides. I don't expect to find the devotion to the customer here in the '20s. It resembles what I had expected in the '60s. Let me try, though. An order that had gone amiss was replaced and another order were delivered on his day off. Above and beyond, I know. The single origin beans are selected and roasted to a consistently high level. While I do play around with light and medium roast espresso and pour-over, The Black Kat Espresso and the Dark Moon Mexican Decaf are exquisite. You won't go wrong with either; very forgiving of the recipe. I think I have found my roaster for life.“

“I work close by so I am at Cilantro several times a week... and as a self-proclaimed "foodie" I highly recommend this local hot spot for delicious coffee, super tasty chicken salad, raspberry/almond scones, "yoga" cookies, matcha cookies & their peanut butter/ coconut bites! I also frequently get their matcha or golden milk lattes, both are masterfully made & delicious either hot or cold!! I usually see Helen, but everyone there is also as friendly as she is and on-point with my order. Their in-store grocery treats and savory goodies are a delightful hand-picked selection that reminds regulars & travelers why they're a favorite local business & one to support and visit often!!“

“Oh my goodness! My first day in New Haven and I found the best cafe ever! I was greeted with an inviting smile and served the best churro waffles and espresso ever! I appreciate how the barista and cashier personally delivered my coffee and breakfast to me out in the patio. The experience was top notch!! I totally recommend the cafe as I will be returning as much as possible.
