“CRUST catered the first birthday party of my friend's daughter and holy cow, the pizza was insanely good. The variety of the pizzas they were churning out was seemingly endless: mashed potato and bacon, clam, pork belly, steak, prosciutto with arugula--there was something for everyone. Sometimes mobile catering/food trucks can struggle to keep up with a high volume of customers, but CRUST kept the food coming fast and hot for hours. As a guest, I can't comment on how they are to work with from a logistical perspective, but they definitely deliver when it comes to making delicious pizza.“
“This was simply the best experience we could have imagined. They were super easy to deal with to set our event up. On the day of our event the staff arrived and literally took care of everything. The pizza was outstanding and everyone couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. The staff was top notch, super friendly and made sure everyone was enjoying the pizza. We use the Big Green Truck every year for employee appreciation day. Each year they amaze us with their awesome customer service and delicious food. “The place is adorable, honestly not what I was expecting given the quirky sign outside. I like the mixture of colors and textures in this establishment, I could definitely have a date here or catch up on school work. It's versatile, and located next to a fitness place also. Staff friendly, and gave great recommendations. The smoothie was amazing, I got the very cherry. The texture of it was on point, and they know what they are doing. I hate when I get a smoothie and there are chunks, or it's too runny. But here that will never happen, the blenders are perfect and the staff are pros with their craft. Will definitely be back! “We rented the little Italy pizza truck for my boyfriends 30th birthday, and we couldn’t be happier! First of all I’d like to point out that the party was in the back field of a farm, that had a very rough dirt road in and out. Luigi came out a few days prior to scope out the place, and said it wouldn’t be a problem. It DOWNPOURED the whole day of our party, so we were nervous about him being able to get down, not only did he make it down the dirt road all the way to the party, they showed up with smiles on their face and got right to work making their delicious pizzas! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the pizza and service was. We had enough to feed over 75 people, and even had enough so people could bring some home with them. Luigi and his crew were so nice and we are so grateful for everything they did to make the party a huge success. 10/10 recommend their services!“
“The food is delicious. I personally like the fries (good blend of spices that's tasty but not too spicy), mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. My wife loves the potato skins and burgers. We usually get takeout with curbside pickup and the food is ready really fast with great service.“
“So good! We ate at another spot on the shoreline that wasn't the best, so we tried Naples instead. The special is cooked perfectly and the crust is delicious. They have a pretty substantial menu for such small joint. We ordered over the phone on a Saturday night and only waited about 25 minutes for two pizzas. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.“
“I finally tried PopCentric and I will say it's in a little strip mall but I did drive by it 2x . But it's a small little place but huge variety of popsicle flavors from chocolate to mango raspberry lime creamsicle etc . They are a bit pricey but it's all natural fruit . “We had the New Haven Pizza truck for our daughter’s high school graduation party on July 30th. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Made the deposit to book time/day online and Kelly followed up a few days before with the details. Our 50 guests raved about the pizza! Sadly, we were so busy I forgot to take pictures until the last minute but it was a beautiful display too! These guys were punctual and professional! They have their own wooden tables attached to the truck to set up which is so helpful!! And what better way than to end with Gelato and cappuccinos/espressos! Highly recommend booking the New Haven pizza truck if you’re looking to have your next party catered!! You can’t go wrong. ?“
“Opted for a torta at lunch time. The green salsa was super spicy and crazy delicious. The side of guac and chips equally good. Mexicalli stands out since it is the only black truck on Long Wharf. Overall love Food Truck Paradise, reminding me of the taco trucks back in California. Definitely not as cheap, but pretty tasty and a nice break from pizza.“
“Stopped by this place on a Friday afternoon because we were in the area and looking for a sub. I've known about this place because people rave about how good their marinated steak tips are, I can confirm they are good. This place is similar to most delis, order at the counter and pay on the way out. We split the Thimble Island Cutlet Sub which was a good size sub of thin chicken cutlets, BBQ sauce, melted cheddar cheese and some bacon. Bacon was crispy and perfectly cooked along with the thin cutlets, just the way I like them. They have a bunch of other specialty sandwiches, great selection to choose from. Service was helpful and friendly, plenty of seating inside and a couple tables outside on their makeshift patio, will be back when in the area.“
