I haven't been there in 20 years, this month I have ordered food for pickup and I was so delighted that the taste, quality of tge products in each dish. Home made dumpling WOW Ming the next generation is carrying your lion city resturant into the future

The family loved it. We just moved in the area and this is the first Chinese spot we tried. I'm glad we did!! No buyers remorse and that's all I ask for! Fresh and tasty! Thank you for the delicious food 🥰.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. No better place around to get authentic Chinese food, fried to perfection! The customer service skills are 100/10. They are very kind people and deserve lots of continued business.

We have been going to Lion City for 30 years and in my opinion it is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. We love it. Best fried rice ever!

Shrimp toast was on bread that was 3x3 inches $13.00 for 2 pieces. Dark and Dirty inside. The door was locked at noon. I had to call and be on hold for 10 minutes when I was standing right outside. I'll look it up on pinterest and cook my own before I return.

The most delicious Chinese I’ve experienced. Fried rice, egg fou young, and other tasty yreats ate always well done. Highly recommend Lion City for Chinese food in Branford!?

Didn’t even get as far as the food. The person taking my order over the phone had, very literally, the rudest demeanor and tone of voice that I’ve heard in years - especially after I asked one simple question. It was so bad that I just ended the call and never ordered. I called another local Chinese takeout, the people were lovely (and the food delicious), and they got my business and will have it going forward. I’m not sure businesses realize the importance of their host/phone staff.
