What a Spot! I had the short rib. 10/10. Friends got steaks and the "house" shrimp & grits, everyone was stunned. seriously one of the best experiences we've had as a group in forever. The wine list is really of note, some really, really good stuff...collector stuff at really approachable prices. We ended up with an Italian wine with dinner that stole the show. Did I write it down? NO. Take a picture? NO. I'll add It's smallish, we walked in on a Wednesday and got a table right away but there were only bar seats open when we left, I know why. Definitely a local secret.

Terrible experience. The restaurant should not be open. They are understaffed and the 2 people working have terrible attitudes. The food was good but not worth the terrible experience. Waited an hour with no water.

We should have stopped and taken photos before we ate any of the dishes but none of us could wait! Every dish we tried was unbelievable. The flavors were matched perfectly. The time and thought that went into creating this menu was worth every minute. This was out first visit and it won't be our last. Thank you Leslie and JL for an unforgettable evening. We wish you all the success and can't wait to see you again soon.

We went for Sunday brunch. This place is great! The food was outstanding. The chef has come up with some really interesting and tasty combinations based on standard fare. There is nothing frufru about the place. Nothing pretentious, just great food. The guy is a food genius. Highly recommend this place. Atmosphere is casual, but clean and well appointed.

This is a must try in Branford! Food was excellent, you can tell they take pride in the quality of the ingredients they use. Atmosphere was 10/10 and the servers were all very attentive and friendly! We will definitely be back!

Little Riggs has easily become our favorite restaurant in CT. We initially tried Riggs for breakfast bc we heard about their muffins. Weekly you are surprised with a new muffin flavor and they are perfect. For breakfast, I went with the sunny side grits…..without a doubt the BEST grits I’ve ever eaten. Wifey loved her eggs benny. Then we returned for with friends which was extraordinary. From steak frites, short rib, beautiful beet salad, shrimp & grits. Menu items charge based on seasons and freshness. There are many other options that have sent our pallets over the moon. From small bites to meals…. There’s something for everyone. Their drink selection is rather admirable and delicious. The entire staff honestly make you feel so welcome and ready to give you taste buds an experience. Make sure you save room for dessert.

Went to Little Riggs last night to celebrate a birthday and our entire group (6) was blown away!
We shared the Beets, Mac and Cheese, Spring Rolls, and Arancini for appetizers which were all fantastic. Two of our six people HATE beets, but they both changed their stance after trying Little Rigg's. The flavors of all of the dishes worked perfectly.
Now the burgers. AMAZING. I personally had the Pickle Back and let me tell you, the meat was seasoned perfectly and clearly a high quality, great bun, perfectly pickled red onions, and probably the BEST BACON I HAVE EVER HAD on top. The bacon the chef makes for this burger is better than the thick cut bacon at a high end steak house.
This place is an absolute gem. So much so that part of our party is planning on going back tomorrow morning to experience the breakfast menu.
Thank you Little Riggs for the best meal we have all had in a long time!
