Classic Italian, great food, great prices. A little slow sometimes but worth the wait. White pasta with clams, so good.

Great service and great food

Went for Mothers Day food good. Disappointed at the sevice.Waitress never checked on us .Nor did she ask if we needed refills.Or if we needed a anything. Left her a tip she didnt deseve.Three a waitress on for a busy Mothers Day not enough. No interaction with customers I was watching around me while they literally running around like chickens with their heads cut off.Eating out is a privilege it costs good money.So you expect good service.

I've only recently had take out pizza from this restaurant which was above average.
For the past 30 years or so I've boycotted lomonicos because of the terrible treatment I received one Saturday night (in the mid 1990s) when a former boyfriend and I tried to have dinner there. Unbeknownst to us there was a dress code (jackets for men) that we didn't meet. Instead of telling us this, the staff let us stand there like fools for 45 minutes as they sat all the patrons who arrived after us,telling us that no tables were available. After a while we caught on and went elsewhere,but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I never went back until just recently and only for takeout.. All these years later I still remember this incident and still shocked that a ( mainly) pizza place had such a policy. It would have been kinder to just tell us about the dress code,I wouldn't have been so upset about it for over 30 years had they done so.

The best pizza in Branford and a staple in the community. The prices are great and I have never been disappointed with the pizza or dinners. The dining room could use a refresh, but it’s clean and comfortable.

Went for the first time for lunch @ 11:15, the waiter ( owners son) sat us immediately and brought us this warm Italian bread with the best olive o I’ve ever had . Ordered escarole & white bean soup, asst. seafood appetizer . DELICIOUS . We also ordered 2 lunch specials, seafood & chicken with Papadella pasta . The food was fresh, fresh fresh and delicious, our waiter was so accommodating. Since it was soooooo early we’re the only 2 in the place.the $$$ was unbelievable inexpensive. Will definitely be back!!!

The food is as good as it gets, but be prepared to wait. We stopped coming here because of the slow service, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. The servers are doing their best, but they are severely understaffed. It took forever to get drinks and dinner. Go for the taste, but only if you have a few hours to spare.

Had a great time here for a birthday party. Staff and food were great. I believe our server was Eva and she was awesome. Would recommend.
