I ordered a sandwich and got a pile of dried up shoe stri g looking things masquerading as meat. The items I ordered from the meat counter were not trimmed. I was sold blocks of fat, and the way an older man working there talked to a yong cashier was kind of creepy.
Honestly excellent place. I recommend the branford point sandwich. The quality of their meat sets the bar. Staff is friendly, alert, polite.
I had a great experience at Shoreline Prime Meats & Deli. The food was fresh and high quality, especially the sandwiches and meats. You can really tell they use good ingredients, and the portions are generous. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the visit even better. It’s a great local spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or picking up something to take home. Overall, definitely worth checking out.
Great staff and good food!!
There food is absolutely totally omg so good. Yesterday's was my first time visiting an omg i wish I had tried it sooner. The staff was great also. I will totally be going again.
I understand the economy is bad but $30 is too much for two sandwiches that didn’t taste good. Sorry
Tree made me the best Rubin in town great lunch place
Delicious sandwiches! Tons of meat.
The sandwich was overall good, but the whole wheat bread was terrible. You could do a lot better.
I moved to Branford and won’t go anywhere else for my sandwiches. My favorite are the two Reuben’s, corned beef or turkey Reuben.
The steak Rueben can’t be beat.
Service is always good and all staff is friendly. Camille and Sandy are always so nice.

Nothing better than their Rubens
Get the porkchops! Everything is great but the porkchops are out of this world!
Lived in the area my whole life. Decided to try this spot for the 1st time today. Never understood how a meat shop / deli was able to survive in this main road plaza...Well after paying $36 for two steak & cheese subs, now I know lol. My wife was told she couldn't get her S&C on a roll, only a sub or wrap. For $16+ a piece, you think these things would be PACKED with meat...nope.
Overall tasted pretty good but anyone looking for a fat sandwich or a good bang for the buck should keep on driving. Disappointed.
Amazing deli sandwiches, and really smooth service. Pricing is about average, not too bad for the amount of meat you get.
We passed by here on route to Brandford and decided to stop in for some sandwiches as we were famished. Staff seemed distracted and annoyed and not too friendly, particularly when asked if the roast beef was made in house. It's not, which is surprising to me given that the butcher section seemed plentiful and an in-house option would be way more desirable than Boars Head.
The sandwhich selection was pretty decent and we decided on the Italian and the in house made meatball sandwich.
Both were disappointing.
The Italian had so little meat on it!
The meatballs were meatloaf like slices and while the sauce was pretty good, the roll had not been toasted or grilled so it was a soggy mess.
There are some tables and chairs inside to eat, which we did.
Lots of meats in freezer section in a jumbled mess that is hard to tell what is what. They also have some produce available, sodas, chips, premade salads and more, but all items seemed quite pricey.
They do olive oil refills here as well, but the staff I asked all said they did not use olive oil or know if this brand was good.
Clean restroom and plenty of parking.
I don't see us returning.
