We recently celebrated my dad’s 90th birthday with a lunch at a local restaurant who suggested Sweets on Main for the cake. Sarah was so accommodating, responded quickly and made great suggestions. The chocolates mousse cake was out of this world. Seriously the best chocolate cake any of us experienced. Support local! You’ll be sweetly pleased!!

When Sugar Bakery told me that they stopped making their coconut cake, I was devastated. So, I quickly searched for another coconut cake and found Sweets on Main. When I called them, they were so nice and understanding. They even said, "We can make anything that you'd like." I wasn't sure that I wanted the lemon curd and the coconut cake but they convinced me to give it a try given that it was one of their top sellers. I am so glad that I trusted them. This was my wedding cake and there were a lot of folks that were expecting a knock your socks off experience. This cake delivered. The cake was absolutely fabulous. The cake was completely devoured so I wasn't able to save a few slices to re-visit on our anniversary but I will be sure to return for that cake and also can't wait to try to some of their other goodies. It makes me feel good to support a wonderful local business and this one definitely deserves the 5 star praise.

Absolutely LOVED the cookies! Ordered about 45 cookies that were The Office themed for my sister's bachelorette and they were an absolutely enormous hit! Also ordered DIY decorating kits that I gave out as favors and those went over well. Ordered the cookies a little on the late side but the shop was able to fit them in! Even threw in an extra mug cookie that my sister laughed at and loved. They all were really delicious as well! Looked fantastic and tasted great, couldn't ask for better. Talking to the shop was great too they were friendly and more than happy to work with my requests.Would absolutely order from them again.

Cannot recommend this shop enough. Ordered The Office themed cookies for my sister's bachelorette and was incredibly happy. Everyone thought they were spectacular. They looked fantastic and tasted amazing! Also ordered DIY decorating kits and gave them out as favors. They went over really well! Shop owner was very friendly and worked with my requests. Sarah and Donna are a remarkable team. From day one of planning, they truly heard our vision and brought it to life. Everything was discussed via e-mail, but they made us feel like we were their only clients. We had a Couples Shower at a local brewery and ordered 6 mix/matched cupcakes and a one tier naked cake. They beautifully matched our color scheme and flavored our one tier cake with our favorite thing…. espresso. We expected great things, but we’re blown away with our dessert table. They even offered to add our fresh flowers to the cake upon delivery, which pulled it all together. Thank you again. See you at the next event!

We had heard of sweets on main recommended by other newly weds and we are so happy we went forward with the them as our something sweet and delicious! We went with a naked 3 tier cake with the raspberry compote, it was light refreshing and perfect way to feel like light with something sweet and spend the rest of the night to the dance floor! Our venue was lawn club in new haven, and the cake delivery was seamless. Scheduling the tasting and being there was an adorable date for us, and once we tried the combo for the delicious cake they helped us with making our vision come true! Sweets on Main worked with our florist Agnew Florist.
