Worth the ferry trip! Took an impromptu ferry from Port Jefferson and found this hidden gem of a restaurant within 10 minutes walking from ferry. Got there early before opening and was welcomed in. Beautiful bar and decor. Awesome staff, drinks and food. We shared delicious small plates - brussel sprouts, fish tacos, broccolini, curry mussels, black rice crab balls. And the scrumptious halibut with corn risotto! A must have if you come. We really enjoyed this place. Wish them...
This is a wonderful little restaurant! The menu is varied and interesting. Appetizers are large enough to share. We enjoyed the Caesar salad and mussels in curry. The curry is amazing! For dinner we enjoyed the red snapper, duck breast, and half chicken. All of it came out piping hot and beautifully plated. Portions were just right and the flavors were on point. Our waitress and the rest of the team were attentive and friendly. It's a wonderful place that cured my food boredom...
Our food choices were very innovatively done! If you are looking for a different dining experience......GO! We enjoyed all of our choices.....right down to the ciabatta bread with the unusual dipping sauce! I was drawn there because of the shrimp and grits on the menu which is something you don't experience in the north! It was delicious!
