This spot is constantly packed, and that alone says a lot about the quality of the food. The aroma of meats slowly smoking over charcoal fills the place and makes the wait completely worth it. One of the best parts is the build-your-own plate option, where you choose exactly what you want and the cost is based on the weight. It’s a great setup because you control both your portions and your budget. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, which explains why people keep coming back. If you’re looking for smoky, well-prepared food with flexibility in how you order, this place absolutely delivers.

Pantanal Restaurant is one of Bridgeport’s best hidden gems. No hype, no flash — just amazing Brazilian food done right. The flavors are bold, the portions are big, and you always leave satisfied.
The staff is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels authentic and relaxed. If you’re in Bridgeport and want something different from the usual spots, Pantanal is a must-try. Highly recommended.

First time here in many years. Used to love coming. This is no longer Brasilian food. No one even spoke Portuguese and ranchero music was blasting. Maybe new owners but anyway the quality is trash. Brasilians don’t waste your time. Go down the street to Terra brasilis.

I always used to go here.. for over 15 years and the food has always remained consistent. The prices however... not so much. I understand that inflation has occurred, but they were one of The first to hike their prices and then hiked them again. I can't complain too much, but I really wish they would be a little more reasonable with the prices.

I tried every meat on the menu. My favorite were the brisket and the chicken wings (delicious and tender). Every other meat I felt was too tough and too salty.

They had 3 types of rice all delicious. The plantains( I prefer sweat) were not, and the yuka fries were kind of dry.

Customer service was amazing. I was able to sit down after purchasing my tray and had a good time eating here.

Great rodizio buffet style restaurant if you are in the mood for authentic Brazilian grilled meats, from chicken to steaks and chorizo and a good variety of food and salads.

I had a bad experience with this restaurant I asked for picaña. It comes with the picaña they will scam you they will tell you they giving you Picanha, but it’s not if you don’t know what they’re giving you so you have to pay attention. They have done it twice to me today. Last time I eat in there there’s a lot of Brazilian place that give your real picaña Until I took one of my friends that was butcher so he knows about meat. I took a video of what they give me and it’s not they will scam you watch out.

If you love meat this is the place to go. They have pork. They have sausage. They have chicken wrapped in bacon. They have great chicken wings. They have steak. They have brisket. It's all good. It's weighed by the pound. Their sides are really good and flavorful. Also they have white rice, yellow rice, pasta dishes, vegetable dishes, salads. Kind of everything you could think of. So when you have one of those nights when everybody wants something different for dinner, this is the place to go

After a long day of commuting and pulling in on the ferry, I was searching for something open nearby and stumbled upon Pantanel Restaurant. I walked in around 9:30pm and noticed the chairs were already up for the night—but the owner, Carlos, caught me looking for a spot and immediately set up a table with a smile.

What followed was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The tacos with mole sauce were incredible, and the homemade salsas were bursting with flavor. Carlos and I enjoyed a great conversation, and it was clear he’s a humble, hardworking man who takes tremendous pride in his food.

Thank you for making my day, Carlos. I’ll absolutely be back soon with my family
