“I remember when big George bought this market. I was a picky kid, never ate here. I’m now an adult and love food. This is my GO TO for an Italian combo! I live 45 minutes away, but visit when I’m in town. I went Monday. Big George was there! I wanted him to help me, but he didn’t. This is a family place. Great food and people. “Large order placed at 1:15 on Sunday afternoon,was told 35 minutes,ok. Got there at 2, order wasn't ready until 2:45. Warm food was done first,hot dogs cooked in the microwave, cold food done last. Also she took an order, while I was standing there whating for mine,and completed that order... wtf. On top of this cluster f_&k she had no clue how to use a cash register. “I stopped in with my fiancé today. He got a sandwich and I ordered the fresh fruit salad and mozzarella tomato salad. I went to my car and opened both containers and the fresh fruit salad had gone bad. I took it in and the team was absolutely excellent at exchanging it. They smelled the salad and agreed with me something unfortunately went bad in the salad. They exchanged it out for something different and I went about my day. 10/10 recommend. They have awesome customer service and they were super apologetic!“

“Although they messed up my order and did not deliver the salad and desserts, I have to say what they did deliver was absolutely delicious. I called Ariel and he said the next time I come he would give me what Door Dash didn’t deliver. The rice and beans were really something special. The chicken was perfect and the plantains could not be prepared better. I was impressed and will be going back. Mistakes happen, I get it. But great food doesn’t happen. And this place delivers the later. I should be mad, honestly, but what came was so good all I have is a smile and an extremely satisfied tummy. Great food!

This is a follow up to my earlier review. Lo Ina Latina Deli is Waterbury’s hidden gem. Their chicken. Is the best I have ever had. There fried pork was off the charts. Perfectly prepared. Just excellent.

They make really good sandwiches on sub rolls? with a free can of soda with it for like $7, and that's with basically whatever you want on it.
