The food was great, especially the French toast, and even tho there are some funky rules it added to the atmosphere and we had a great time!

1. Food is not bad but very expensive 2. Service, all services are completed by one lady whose attitude is absolutely horrible. If you have small children, they will fear her. Does not seem to like children. She makes the entire experience extremely uncomfortable. 3. Ambiance is old school diner feel it's really cool for me because I've been here a lot when I was younger and it was always a stop my dad and I would make when going fishing every year to Twin Lakes which is just outside of town. Was always a great memory as a kid with his dad. My son and I went here a couple of years ago with our Kayaks. Heading to Twin Lakes. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The woman who owns the place runs outside and begin barking Covid orders at us. Tells us all the rules and then tells us to put a mask on or get out of her parking lot. No problem. Then as we went inside a couple locals sitting at the counter the woman sat us at the farthest corner away from everyone. She then walked over to our table and told us we could take off our masks. It was bizarre to say the least!!! Breakfast was not bad, all condiments were put on by her only, including salt and pepper! I really wanted to feel what my father gave me for such great memories end experiences but instead it was a terrible experience and I personally would never return.

I was traveling through town and wanted some breakfast so I stopped by. There are rules handwritten on paper all over the doors and was very confusing to understand. I was curious what they were so I took my time to read it all but I was rushed inside by the lady working there. It seems like this place is stuck in hardcore COVID restrictions although zi wasn't forced to wear a mask (if I was, I would have walked out anyways). While the place is clean, it is worn down and uncomfortable. I didn't want to sit at the counter but I was forced to - wasn't going to argue. The menu was challenging to read. There was a combination of print and handwritten notes which I couldn't read because the menu was printed and laminated 30 years ago and is scratched to hell. I couldn't decipher what to order so I just asked for eggs, potatoes, toast and bacon. It did come with coffee. The lady that serves is also the cook so that was an interesting touch. The food came promptly but was an extremely small portion. The toast was burned so that wasn't enjoyable. The potatoes were the best part. The portion was so small I actually ordered a second portion to fulfill my hunger. Then the bill came. How the hell was this $29? I couldn't understand the menu and I didn't have the desire to argue it so I left cash and walked out. At $29, that means each meal was $14.50. How the hell are two eggs, two slices of toast, 4oz of potatoes and two strips of bacon $14.50?!I recommend everyone please read the other reviews - they are accurate. I didn't have as an unpleasant experience as others but I opted to be very open minded and relaxed because I was hungry. This place is obviously run by an insanely LIBERAL person and I was afraid to say anything in fear of getting kicked out of the only diner in town, that I saw. I won't be back. There is a reason it is always empty.

As soon as I walked in the door she tried forcing me to sit down and buy eggs with free coffee….Explained I wanted soup only to go. She said she doesn’t have any soup go across the street and to recommend her business. And tell romas they sent us and to come back, I started walking across the street she came outside yelling parking is for customers only to move my vehicle. This is private property Romas was 25 feet away And not one car in the parking lot. She screamed yelled and was very rude but parked her car sideways.

Cash only, one page menu. We were in the middle of nowhere and hungry. Diners can be cool so we stopped. We were greeted by a masked worker who opened the door greeted us rather abruptly and listed off where to sit and what was happening next. Very odd. Not a warm feeling to start. We all wanted to leave but my senior dad needed the bathroom so we stayed. I will not review the rest of our sentiments but to say the food was ok, she was a one man band doing it all herself and that she must have a story behind her to run the place and talk to people so direct, yet with manners and military like. Maybe a retired police officer? I have no idea. We left wanting to know her story, feeling like we need to have compassion, yet not wanting to go back. As we left she referred us to see the Accordion museum across the parking lot. THAT WAS THE BEST. What a place and we were greeted by the warm owner who was amazing. He played the accordion but also shared the history of and stories about many of them. We didn't want to leave the museum. Moral of the story for diner? Everyone is worth understanding, if you are hungry stop but know what you are walking Into

The owner stood at the door and made us feel uncomfortable .She was not very friendly. it was a place my friend wanted to visit and we both said we never go back after that experience…. And the prices are outrageous for a very limited breakfast menu but …the food and service were Ok!

Stay away. Needs beware of staff sign. Can't tell you about the food as the guard dog rude lady ran us out before we could order. The lack of customer service, rudeness and behavior by the mean lady was more mind boggling than the 12.95 grilled cheese. Ma'am you need to find your passion again bc you have very clearly lost the reason and meaning of customer service.

True diner of yesteryear. Diner family owned for over 50 years. Owner is very nice, greets you when you come in, aims to please. Come in with an empty tummy and cash in your pocket. No credit cards.

Lovely diner, kind welcoming service. If you're looking for a good homestyle meal with friendly people, this is the place to go. Small town diner at it's best.
