Been visiting the Berkshires for over twenty years, but this was our first visit to the Collins Diner. I'm a big fan of old style diners, so this was a treat. We found the owner welcoming and friendly. We appreciated the care that was taken with our order. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We tried omelets, burgers, and the tuna melt. Cute diner. Clean. Professional/prompt service. Food was above average. My only issue was the atmosphere. Handwritten (hard to read) rules all over the entrance, door, and walls inside. I didn’t have a problem with any of the many rules, and I was spoken to politely, but I just didn’t find this to be an overly friendly place that I could relax.
