I'm so happy Avanti is back! But my favorite dish is no longer on the menu. Please, please bring back the steak pizzaiola! I love your food, but I loved that most of all. Just lose the filet mignon; they don't have enough fat anyway. Your steaks and pizza and pasta are incredible!
I was so spoiled when I could walk to the old South Meriden location- but they didn't go too far and the food is still great, nice service - prices definitely went up but that's to be expected now in this economy. My pasta fagioli was delicious, chicken parm on point - but I do wish they offered a soup or salad with the meals (entrees of pasta or chicken? ).
