“Great food experience! Haven't been here in years. I wasn't sure if COVID had changed things. Just the prices. My brother and I had burgers and beer. He ate dessert too. Burgers cooked as request. Pleasant and low key server. Perfect Saturday night supper. Not cheap eats anymore but moderately priced night out for two.“

“We drive from Rocky Hill to Christos Wallingford for their family meal deals during the week or if we are passing through from seeing family on the shore. Family serving of whatever they are offering plus bread and a salad. Feeds us for 3 days. 10/10“

“Just moved to Wallingford and wanted to find a local bar nearby. Didn't realize Wallingford bars close at 11 on Sundays so someone told us about this place! My bf and I loved it!! Bartender Jordan was super nice, very attentive and fun!! Drink prices were great too! I was extra excited that it was karaoke night!!! Exactly what I was looking for!! Guess I found my new regular spot to hangout Sunday nights!!“

Bartenders are also very nice and kind and are very interactive with their customers, some people like the silence, others love to chat, theres a pool table, darts and tv to watch while you unwind from a hard days work!They also serve food during the daytime hours, although i havent been here yet during the day to try for myself, ive heard really good reviews from the locals!I would much rather support any small mom and pop businesses before any large chains, plus, the drinks here are much quicker than at sliders or any other large restaurant or bar!Oh!! Also!! They have a modern style digital jukebox where you can dial it just the right tunes instead of listening to whats over the big chain speakers. Throw it back and listen to the nostalgia of your childhood or tune in to the top songs of the year, they have a full range of varieties!“

“I ordered a filled bagel and a cupcake. The service was very friendly and warm, and quick though there was quite a queue. The bagel was excellent, great taste, with a small side salad. The cupcake was really moist and beautiful, the buttercream very creamy, and tasty all-in-all, though very sugary! I would recommend this place for the excellent bagels and kind service, and the cupcakes for the ones with a sweet tooth. Maybe an idea for the future to have some sweet products that don't pack quite as much sugar, but I'm definitely coming back for another bagel!“

We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations, the food, and especially the service. We received many positive compliments from our family and friends. “I've been coming to AJ's for over 20 years. literally every time I have friends from out of town visit me and want to have a drink and some good bar food we go to AJ's. every single one of my out-of-town friends always says this is the best bar food they've ever had in their life. I literally have friends who call me up to come to Meriden just to have food from AJ's. my kids are addicted to the food at AJ's as well . I can honestly say if I ever move out of Connecticut, AJ's is one of the very few restaurants that I would ever truly miss and want to stop by if I come back to Connecticut for a visit. Thanks for hanging in and being so committed to our city. with the type of food and friendliness that AJ's gives they could have been successful any place in Connecticut.“

“First time here, so wasn't exactly sure what to do. We figured it out...for the most part. Definitely going back and will know exactly what to do lol. Tasty sauces and fresh good (except the meat is frozen). I'll ask for my egg to be put on last minute, so it's not so hard cooked. Try it out!! Also, under $80 with drinks for FOUR people. Credit card company asked if my 33% tip was correct lol.“

“Last week my family and i had dinner at Flair which is one of our favorite restaurants and Hector the owner told us his family bought Fratellis. We said we would come in this week snd try out the new restaurant. We had told Hector the we loved clams casino and he remembered and even though they were not on the menu he brought some to us from Flair. They were excellent. We also had the best chicken dish ever which was called chicken fratellis. It was very obvious that Hector and his family bent over backwards to ensure our experience was amazing and.......it was. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a fabulous meal and feel that you are appreciated. Thank again“

“We were in the mood for pasta, but didn’t want to go out to eat (sick child). So, the Victorian House staff was so kind to let us order just sauce and of course—Nonna’s Meatballs to go with it. Oh. My. Goodness…the sauce is DELICIOUS and the meatballs melt in your mouth. 🍝 Thank you for the fantastic dinner, Victorian House!“
