“We went tonight for our first time and the food was delicious and service fantastic! Everything is made to order and you can taste the quality! I had the pad Thai, best I’ve had to date. It was a busy night and the staff worked hard and moved quickly ensuring everyone was taken care of, waters refilled, checked on to make sure everything was great. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“What a little gem hidden in a quaint area of CT. Purchased a Groupon and wasn't sure what to expect but were we surprised. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, we were approached immediately to be seated. Dining room had a warm feel with table linens and napkins. Server, Ashley provided excellent service and was very knowledgable with specials and questions we asked. The salad to start was perfect with enough dressing but not overdone, enough Gorgonzola for flavor not excessive and the display of vegetables was impressive. The pasta dishes were exceptional with their home made freshness and the sauce was delicious with much flavor. The menu has many options for your liking and descriptive to make ordering easier. The dessert menu had many options all which looked delicious as we noticed most tables were indulging, so we did too with the gelato. We will return with friends and family. Please try this place, you will not be disappointed and I dine at many restaurants.”

“The only issue with this restaurant is the availability of parking. Yep, I had to walk 1/2 a mile. But that is a small price for this outstanding dining experience. From creative cocktails to wonderful warm house made bread and an entree menu that is ever evolving. Don't miss dessert because you are in for a real treat. This may be Connecticut's best restaurant. Enjoy walking the village of Chester. It is a classic New England storybook village.”

“Hungry after a few hours at Gillette Castle, we were looking for lunch/dinner. We had a wonderful experience at Pattaconk! Our waitress was friendly and attentive to my dietary needs (Celiac’s). We had a burger, quesadilla & Nashville chicken stripes. My burger had a gf bun & was delicious, husb & daughter loved the stripes & quesadilla. Restaurant had a nice, chill atmosphere, everyone enjoying drinks & food. We will be back when out in the area.”

“My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and were absolutely blown away. We tend to end up with less than stellar dining experiences and service, but the Brushmill was outstanding! The service was impeccable, they congratulated us on our anniversary (which was a note on the reservation) and gave us a complimentary Prosecco toast to start the evening. Our server was top notch, we never found ourselves in need of a thing. We started with drinks after the Prosecco toast- a mint greyhound and a tequila old fashion, both of which were well balanced with beautiful presentation. For the appetizer, we got the scallops…. Out of this world! Our server commented they were his favorite, and after trying them it’s no surprise! This may have been the best scallop dish I have ever had. If you go, GET THE SCALLOPS and thank me later! For dinner I had the pasta dish and added chicken to it and my boyfriend had the steak frites. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The brown butter sauce was light and flavorful at the same time and the hazelnuts in the pasta dish paired beautifully with the brussle sprouts and sage. My boyfriend’s steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The amazing meal and service were complimented by the absolutely beautiful building. We both love the rustic industrial vibe, pairing the history of the building and the elegance of the atmosphere perfectly. We will definitely be back and telling all our friends about this hidden gem. Thank you for being a stupendous addition to our evening.”
