Wait staff was polite, engaging, knowledgeable, and courteous. For me, the service is as important as a good meal. The food was excellent as well. Go here to dine not to eat.

1st time here last night. This place is great, Everything from the ambiance to the waitstaff and of course the food was amazing. The one thing we noticed, was not a lot of dinner options. My husband wished he had more to choose from. We will be back.

This restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Our family especially enjoyed the appetizers, and the scallops were the best we ever had. You don't see venues like this too much where the Chief (Frank) comes out to see if your happy with your meal and the brief conversation we had with him warmed our hearts to see such passion about food. If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place. I can’t wait to come back again and highly recommend.

Terrible!!!! Waited an hour for meal to be served, my pasta dish was confusing, too many conflicting flavors, and to top it off, asked for more bread to satisfy hunger while waiting and was told 4 more small pieces of bread would be an additional $5!!!!. The poor family next to our table waited even longer than us to get served...

This place is amazing! You can’t beat the ambience. Great food. Great service. We sampled from their happy hour menu and we were so impressed by this restaurant we decided to stay for dinner. Worth the trip.

Five stars all around for dinner upstairs. However, the experience in the bar downstairs rates two stars at best. We ordered Irish coffee, which the bartender said contains Baileys, but not whiskey. We were served cups that were half full of lukewarm coffee and Baileys. For this we were charged $14 a piece. Later on upstairs at dinner, a member of our party ordered an Irish coffee and was served two coffee mugs, one containing only coffee, which was steaming, hot and full the other containing the whiskey and the Baileys. The downstairs experience was unacceptable and the bartender seemed to not have a clue about how to make Irish coffee.

It's been a while since my wife and I were able to go out on a date, and we were so glad to find The Brushmill by the Waterfall. We came expecting a fine dining experience and left extremely satisfying.
The drinks - amazing. We had a few of their cocktails, with the Manhattan leaving a very nice impression.
The food - amazing. We started with the scallops and pork belly small plates, and had the risotto and burger. Everything was delicious, and the scallops in particular were cooked to *perfection*. The portion sizes are what you would expect from a place like this - don't expect to take home leftovers. But that is perfectly fine, because eating it all fresh is the idea anyway!
The service - impeccable. We were never left waiting for anything, and the staff was immediately responsive.
Furthermore, I witnessed a fascinating exchange between a gentleman who I presume is either the owner or the manager and a group of patrons who we witnessed being quite rude to the hosts at the front of the house. When this group made their way to a table near us, that manager came to them and asked them to leave because they don't tolerate abuse of any kind towards their staff. Now THAT is the kind of restaurant leadership that I can really respect, not the pandering management that I have seen in some restaurants in the past.
So, to recap - the food and drinks were fabulous, the service was terrific, and we witnessed that the team here really cares about one another. This is a winning combination. We will be coming back.
