Love this place! Great food, great service and very nice environment! We've only eaten on the lower level. Very cozy with large wood burning fireplace. So lovely. My one complaint is the lack of good dessert choices. However, they do serve honeycone ice cream which is awesome! Looking forward to our next meal there!
The waiter was very pleasant. The food was excellent. We were not rushed. We have dined here before and also held a bridal shower here and the service and employees have always been exceptional.
We started with the clam chowder and scallops. Both were outstanding. Best clam chowder I've ever had. We were later told the scallops were the one thing that has been on the menu since day one. They tried to rotate it off once and people revolted. Moved on to the duck leg and salmon. Again, both dishes were top notch. Loved the “gravy” that came with the duck and the sides. My wife liked her salmon so much that I can't comment because she didn't share.
Brushmill is a great place for a very good burger or special dinner entree. Have eaten there numerous times and always take guests there
The restaurant is very nice. Was there with friends for New Year’s dinner ( set menu)They had 3 choices but when I made reservations they told me we could order from their regular menu so it was disappointing. The salad was tiny, my salmon was delicious but tiny and dessert was different ( cheesecake was green and tiny)- All in all for the price we were expecting better- Thankfully we had appetizers at my house before we went there! Now, They sat 8 of us upstairs next to the kitchen door( very distracting and noisy), we didn’t take our coats off because that spot had no heat! We told the waitress to put the heat on but she kept making excuses ( I don’t like to be cold)- We were in good company with friends so we had a good time but cold.

Obsesssssed, our new favorite place. Short ribs melt in your mouth yummmm so good. Great attentive servive. Super friendly staff, I can go on and on about the positives!
was surprised for a birthday dinner here. From the well-lit parking lot to the bucolic wooden walkway into the restaurant, this place has great atmosphere. The menu is limited and they had just changed it and hadn't updated it online, so some options were no longer available. That didn't matter, as what was on the menu was fresh and tasty. I have the burger with truffle fries and a rye Manhattan. The handmade foccaccia bread with black garlic butter was really delicious, and the burger was a savory delight. We did go on a Sunday evening with no reservation, and they found us a nice spot with a view of the water, and our wait wasn't that long, but I can imagine a Friday or Saturday night would warrant reservations. This place is great for a unique delicious time.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was amazing. From the personalized card, to the attentive yet not overbearing waitstaff to the delicious food and drinks - the Brushmill was an amazing choice! We will definitely be returning!

The menu is small because everything is made in house - everything! They had gluten-free bread that did not have other allergins (like brown rice flour). The large salad with goat cheese was enormous and they used the equivalent of one container of goat cheese crumbles. I've never had such huge portions. I have allergies and am vegetarian but the waiter, who had been working there for 2 weeks, knew every incredient in every dish. I hadn't been there in over 40 years when it was owned by the Chart House. This owner has done an incredible remodel, and has hired an amazing staff. I recommend it highly.
Everything was fabulous except when we were on our way in. My friend is a smoker and was having a cigarette in the parking lot before we went in. She carefully put it out and tossed it in the dumpster when she was done. As we started to walk through the covered bridge to the entrance, a man (who I assume was the restaurant manager) abrupty approached my friend and aggressively said "Did YOU just throw a lit cigarette in MY dumpster"? She said "no, I put it out first and could not find an ashtray, so I threw it in the dumpster". He proceeded to tell us how someone set the dumpster on fire once because they put a lit cigarette in it. He did not apologize and proceeded to walk toward the dumpster because I don't think he believed her. It was just pretty rude, awkward and uncomfortable. But other than that, the hostess was very sweet. Our waitress was wonderful. The restaurant was warm, cozy and rustic. And the food was delicious.
This is such a hidden gem! The lovely waterfall invites you into this historic beauty that has been carefully updated with modern and elegant touches. The menu offers a variety of farm to table options which pair well with a great wine selection. I highly recommend the chicken pot pie which is the ultimate fall comfort food. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you for the hospitality and wonderful dining experience.

This was our first visit and we'll definitely be back. The restaurant is beautiful and rustic. Our server was friendly and informative about the restaurant and the food. We all ordered soup and it was hot and delicious. The entrees were amazing. The chicken pot pie (deconstructed) was the best I've ever had. The desserts were excellent.
