We had a lovely winter lunch. The service, wine, and food were all outstanding. The duck was a particular highlight…best I’ve had!

This place is beautiful! Well kept and charming. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and service was great. Best wine in all of Connecticut from all the vineyards I've visited thus far. The ambiance was relaxing and the charcuterie board was tasty, loved the raw honeycomb. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

This has always been a special place to go for good food and a decent glass of wine. But this time not so. The salad was bitter, the bread smothered in butter. Luckily the French fries and olives were great

Beautiful vineyard service was amazing food was so good and fresh and the wine was the best thus far from local vineyards I've visited in Connecticut. Make reservations as this place is busy.
Staff were very rude, when a group arrived for a function.

The bistro is beautiful, there were lit fireplaces and exposed beams. There is a gorgeous outside area though the weather wasn't conducive to sitting there. The food was amazing and the portions were large for the price. We had a lovely time and definitely will be back!
We started with the Beet & Burrata Salad, served with grilled baguette and lemon vinaigrette — absolutely delicious! Jay had the butternut squash soup, which was rich and flavorful, though it could have been a bit hotter. Honestly, we should have let them know, but in our defense, we were starving! For our entrées, I had the Parisian Gnocchi — so delicious that I nearly finished the entire dish. Jay ordered the Roasted Cod Loin with olive tapenade and said it was one of the best meals out he's ever had. We ended the evening by sharing the Golden Raisin Bread Pudding with chocolate chips and cappuccinos — the perfect finish to a wonderful meal. The venue itself is such a lovely, relaxing spot — ideal for unwinding, talking about the day, and simply enjoying each other's company. We both highly recommend Chamard Vineyards Bistro.
Fits the definition of a hidden gem. A bistro aspect elevates the vineyard experience and makes for a great pairing.

First time here. It's a stop on the Connecticut winery trail tour. We have been to about 40 different wineries .
It was just a quick stop so we didn't order food . Just to try their wines 🍷. A little pricey compared to other wineries. But a higher end winery compared to others in Connecticut.
