i will chalk this one up to a bad night for the restaurant. We have had really good experiences in the past and love having this place in our town. Saturday night reservation for 6:30, 3 people and the first thing we are told is that they are out of the New York Strip and the Tomahawk steak...both signature dishes and exactly what we had gone there for. Someone clearly was off their game when they were ordering food for the weekend. We settled on the Delmonico and the Filet instead...
Excellent on all criteria! Dinner for seven on a Friday night can be challenging. We were ALL delighted with Nataz in Clinton! Our server, Carl, was totally attentive, informative...and fun! The fixed price format covers a board of 'nibbles', bread, salad, entre, and dessert. All were generous and satisfying! The quality of the main dish was outstanding. I ordered the Veal, and it was perfectly prepared—incredibly tender and wonderfully well-balanced in flavor. This is definitely a spot that takes pride in its cuisine.
